"11001001" is an episode of the first season of the American science fiction television series '' Star Trek: The Next Generation''. Make-up supervisor Michael Westmore created the look of the Bynars, who were four women in extensive make-up. The musical score was scored by Ron Jones. Reviewers praised the Bynars themselves, and the response to the episode was generally positive, with one critic calling it the best of the season. Eugene "Gene" Dynarski (September 13, 1933 – February 27, 2020) was an American actor. Three of the most popular projects that he has been involved with were two Steven Spielberg films, ''Duel'' and ''Close Encounters of the Third Kind'', and the Westwood Studios computer game '' Command & Conquer: Red Alert''. Acting career Dynarski acted on stage before he began working in films and on television. Robert Lewin (May 9, 1920 – August 28, 2004) was an American screenwriter and television producer. He was nominated for an Academy Award for ''The Bold and the Brave'', and Emmy nominated for the television series '' The Paper Chase'' and ''Baretta''. Early life Robert Lewin was born in New York, and went on to attend Yale University before serving as an officer in the United States Army during the Second World War. He subsequently became a reporter for both ''Life'' magazine and the ''Atlanta Constitution''. Following that, he formed a publicity firm, Lewin, Kaufman and Schwartz, with Leonard Kaufman and Marving Schwartz. Lewin and his wife, Elyse, had three children, Cheryl, James and Lian. Paul Lynch (director)
Paul Lynch (born June 11, 1946) is a Canadian film director and television director. Lynch came to Canada in 1960. He left school to become a cartoonist for the ''Toronto Star'' and then served as a photographer for a number of small-town newspapers. This led to work in film, including a 90-minute documentary on ''Penthouse'' magazine commissioned by its publisher, Bob Guccione. His first feature film was ''The Hard Part Begins''. This was followed by the box-office hit '' Prom Night'', a straightforward slasher film starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen.
