1999–2000 SpVgg Unterhaching Season
The 1999–2000 season was the first time SpVgg Unterhaching played in the 1. Bundesliga, the highest tier of the German football league system. Season summary SpVgg Unterhaching surprised everyone with a respectable 10th-place result in their inaugural Bundesliga season, and also famously played the spoiler's role in deciding who would win the championship that year. Their first Bundesliga win came in just their second match of the season, with a 2-0 victory over MSV Duisburg at home. While struggling in away matches, Unterhaching remained undefeated at home in nine games before losing 2-0 to their stronger neighbours, Bayern Munich. Prior to this loss, they had earned wins at home in matches against highly favoured teams like VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund, beating them 2-0 and 1-0 respectively. SpVgg Unterhaching
Spielvereinigung Unterhaching () is a German sports club in Unterhaching, a semi-rural municipality on the southern outskirts of the Bavarian capital Munich. The club is widely known for playing in the first-division association football league Bundesliga alongside its more famous cousins, Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich, for two seasons between 1999 and 2001, while the club's bobsleigh department has captured several world and Olympic titles. Danny Schwarz
Danny Schwarz (born 11 May 1975) is a German football coach and former player who is the manager of FC 08 Homburg. He played as a defensive midfielder. Playing career Schwarz was born in Göppingen. He played for VfB Stuttgart between the 1995–96 season and 1997–98 season, Karlsruher SC during the 1998–99 season, SpVgg Unterhaching between the 1999–2000 season and the 2001–02 season, and 1860 Munich during the 2002–03 season and 2003–04 season. Jochen Seitz
Jochen Seitz (born 11 October 1976) is a German professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Regionalliga Bayern club Viktoria Aschaffenburg. Seitz played professionally in his country for Hamburger SV, SpVgg Unterhaching, VfB Stuttgart, FC Schalke 04, Kaiserslautern, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Alemannia Aachen. Towards the end of his career, he had a two-year stint at Bulgarian side Chernomorets Burgas. Playing career Seitz signed with Bulgarian Chernomorets Burgas for two years on 4 July 2009. Altin Rraklli
Altin Rraklli (born 17 July 1970) is an Albanian football coach and former player who played as a forward. Most of his professional career was spent in Germany, where he played for five clubs in both major levels of football, mainly SC Freiburg and SpVgg Unterhaching for a total of 282 games. Alexander Strehmel
Alexander Strehmel (born 20 March 1968) is a German football manager and a former professional player who played as a defender or midfielder. He managed Michigan Stars FC. Playing career Strehmel began his career with VfB Stuttgart, and broke into the first team during the 1986–87 season, in which he made sixteen appearances in the Bundesliga. He continued to play steadily over the next few years, and helped the club to the 1989 UEFA Cup Final, although he missed the entire second half of the 1988–89 season, including final itself (a defeat against Napoli).
