Ferdi Vierklau
Ferdinand 'Ferdi' Rudols Marcel Vierklau (born 1 April 1973) is a Dutch retired footballer who played as a right back. Club career Vierklau was born in Bilthoven, Utrecht. In his country, he played for FC Utrecht, Vitesse Arnhem and AFC Ajax (March 1999 to June 2002), appearing in 185 Eredivisie matches over 11 seasons and scoring five goals; he won the double with the Amsterdam club in the 2001–02 campaign, but was already a fringe player at the time. Vierklau also played one and a half seasons with CD Tenerife in Spain, being relegated in his second year in La Liga and subsequently signing with Ajax. He retired at the age of 29. International career Vierklau earned two caps for the Netherlands, in a period of eight months. John O'Brien (soccer)
Jonathan Patrick O'Brien (born August 29, 1977) is an American former soccer player. After retiring, he pursued a career in psychology. O'Brien was one of the first Americans to earn a starting spot with a major European team, with Ajax Amsterdam in the late 1990s.O'Brien was the second American ever to play for the 1st team of Ajax, the first being Eddy Hamel who played for the club from 1922 to 1930. At the peak of his career, United States national teammate Landon Donovan called O'Brien the "best soccer player in the USA." Professional career O'Brien grew up in Playa del Rey, California and attended Brentwood School. Cristian Chivu
Cristian Eugen Chivu (; born 26 October 1980) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Inter Milan's under-19 side. A defender, he began his career with hometown club CSM Reșița before moving to FC Universitatea Craiova in 1998, leaving Romania to join Dutch club Ajax a season later. His performances as the captain of Ajax inspired an €18 million transfer to Roma in 2003. Chivu won the Coppa Italia in his last of four seasons in Rome before a transfer to Inter Milan, where he spent the rest of his career before retiring in 2014. Jesper Grønkjær (; born 12 August 1977) is a Danish former professional footballer. A pacey winger, Grønkjær played primarily on the right or left wing, or as a second striker. Brian Laudrup (, born 22 February 1969) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a winger, forward or as a midfielder, and was regarded as one of the most talented players of his generation. Nikos Machlas ( el, Νίκος Μαχλάς, born 16 June 1973) is a retired Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career OFI Crete Machlas began his career with OFI Crete, where he made his debut in February 1991 against Panionios. He stayed at the club for six seasons. Richard Witschge
Richard Peter Witschge (born 20 September 1969) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was known for his technique and passing ability. In an 18-year professional career he played mainly for Ajax, but also represented, amongst other clubs, Barcelona. In 11 seasons in the Eredivisie, he amassed totals of 226 matches and 15 goals. Wamberto de Jesus Sousa Campos (born 13 December 1974) is a Brazilian former footballer who last played as a forward and as a midfielder. He notably represented AFC Ajax and Standard Liége. He was also nicknamed ''Wampie'' by Ajax supporters. Biography Wamberto played for R.F.C. Seraing and Standard Liège in Belgium and Ajax Amsterdam in Netherlands.
