1999 Norwegian Football Cup Final
The 1999 Norwegian Football Cup Final was the final match of the 1999 Norwegian Football Cup, the 94th season of the Norwegian Football Cup, the premier Norwegian football cup competition organized by the Football Association of Norway (NFF). The match was played on 30 October 1999 at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, and opposed two Tippeligaen sides Rosenborg and Brann. Rosenborg defeated Brann 2–0 to claim the Norwegian Cup for an eighth time in their history. The 1999 Norwegian Football Cup the 94th edition of the Norwegian Football Cup. The Cup was won by Rosenborg after beating Brann in the final with the score 2–0. Bjørn Otto Bragstad
Bjørn Otto Bragstad (born 5 January 1971) is a former football defender from Norway. Club career Bragstad came through the youth ranks at Rosenborg before making his senior debut in the 1989 season. He scored 26 goals in 194 matches for them. In 2000, he joined English team Derby. Playing just 12 league matches, and scoring twice in a League Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion, he failed to make a significant impact at the club and went on loan to Birmingham where he would only play three matches the following season. He eventually departed Derby halfway through the 2002–03 season. He spent the rest of his career in Austria with Bregenz before retiring in the summer of 2004. Ole Johan Singsdal (born 8 May 1979) is a Norwegian football (soccer) attacking midfielder, who plays for KIL/Hemne, the club where he started his career. In 1998, he moved to Rosenborg BK, where he was mainly a backup player, making just 2 appearances in 3 years and in 2000 was loaned out to Byåsen IL Byåsen Idrettslag is a multi-sport club from Trondheim, Norway. Tore André Dahlum
Tore André "Totto" Dahlum (born 21 June 1968) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward. During his playing career, he had three spells at Start and two spells at Rosenborg. He also played briefly in Denmark, Greece and Belgium. Club career Born in Kristiansand, Dahlum's career started with FK Vigør. In 1992, he went on a two-week trial at Manchester United. Dahlum had his best years in the early 1990s. As a member of Start, he became the top goalscorer in the Norwegian top division in 1990, with 20 goals. He also made his international debut the same year. Bent Inge Johnsen
Bent Inge Johnsen (born 28 January 1972 in Mosjøen) is a Norwegian football player and current coach. Johnsen was versatile and could play as defender, midfielder and forward. He started his career with local Mosjøen IL, then joined top-flight team Bodø/Glimt. After 5 years with the club he moved to Norway's top club Rosenborg and made 65 league appearances in 3 years. He then moved to his final club, Odd Grenland and left professional football aged 34. Christer Basma
Christer Basma (born 1 August 1972) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a defender. He played 16 consecutive seasons Tippeligaen, for Kongsvinger, Stabæk and Rosenborg. With 350 top division appearances, Basma has made the eighth-highest number of appearances in Eliteserien. Basma was capped 40 times for Norway. He has later worked as assistant coach of Ranheim. Árni Gautur Arason
Árni Gautur Arason (born 7 May 1975 in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic former football goalkeeper. Árni is also an educated lawyer from the University of Iceland. Club career He played for Rosenborg between January 1998 and December 2003, also making several UEFA Champions League appearances for the club. Jahn Ivar Jakobsen, nicknamed Mini, (born 8 November 1965 in Gravdal, Nordland, Gravdal) is a Norway, Norwegian former Association football, football player (winger/forward) who has played for, amongst others, FK Bodø/Glimt, Bodø/Glimt and Rosenborg BK, Rosenborg. John Carew
John Alieu Carew (born 5 September 1979) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He was capped 91 times, scoring 24 goals for the Norway national team. As of 2023, he has been hired until the end of 2024 at Norwegian Football Federation where he will be working with children and youth; the president of the federation hopes that Carew will have permission to work in the position, while serving his prison sentence with an electronic ankle tag. Jan-Derek Sørensen (born 28 December 1971) is a Norwegian former professional Association football, footballer, who played as a right midfielder or right winger. Ørjan Berg
Ørjan Berg (born 20 August 1968) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is the current sporting director of Bodø/Glimt. Berg retired at the end of the 2006 season, having played for Bodø/Glimt, Wettingen, TSV 1860 Munich, Basel and Rosenborg. He is the brother of Bodø/Glimt player Runar Berg and the son of midfielder and playmaker Harald Berg. Bent André Skammelsrud (born 18 May 1966) is a Norwegian former professional footballer, most known as an important midfielder for Rosenborg BK. He has eleven consecutive championships in the Norwegian Premier League, and three times he won the Norwegian Football Cup. Biography Skammelsrud was born in Sarpsborg.
