The Senate is the upper chamber of Nigeria's bicameral legislature, the National Assembly of Nigeria. Dalhatu Sarki Tafida (born 24 November 1940) was elected Senator for the Kaduna North Senatorial District of Kaduna State, Nigeria at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic, running on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. Muktar Ahmed Mohammed Aruwa (1948 – 9 December 2018) was a Nigerian senator. He was first elected to the senate in 1999 as a representative of Kaduna State for the All People's Party (APP).
