1999 Bavarian Cup
The 1999 Bavarian Cup was the second edition of this competition which was started in 1998. It ended with the TSV 1860 Rosenheim winning the competition. Together with the finalist, SpVgg Landshut, both clubs were qualified for the DFB Cup 1999-00. The competition is open to all senior men's football teams playing within the Bavarian football league system and the Bavarian clubs in the Regionalliga Süd (III). Rules & History The seven Bezirke in Bavaria each play their own cup competition which in turn used to function as a qualifying to the German Cup (DFB-Pokal). Since 1998 these seven cup-winners plus the losing finalist of the region that won the previous event advance to the newly introduced Bavarian Cup, the Toto-Pokal. FC Hansa Rostock () is a German association football club based in the city of Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The club is also called as "the cog" because of its club crest. The Mittelfranken Cup (German: ''Mittelfränkischer Pokal'') was a domestic cup competition for the Bavarian Bezirk of Middle Franconia (German: ''Mittelfranken''), played until 2009. TSV Kottern
TSV Kottern is a German association football club from Kottern in Kempten, Bavaria. __TOC__ History The team was established on 15 September 1925 as Freier Fußballclub Kottern as a worker's sports club. The club was broken up as politically undesirable under the Nazi regime and the membership became part of Turn- und Sportverein Kottern, founded in 1874, as that association's football department. The side played in the senior local level A-Klasse competition throughout the 30s and on into the mid-40s. The Schwaben Cup (German: ''Schwäbischer Pokal'') was a domestic cup competition in the Bavarian ''Regierungsbezirk'' of Swabia (German: ''Schwaben''), played from 1947 to 2009. Overview The competition was first played in 1947, before the reintroduction of the German Cup. With the introduction of the national cup competition, the Schwaben Cup also became a qualifying competition for it. The Schwaben Cup has been played annually since 1947 with the exception of 1956 and 1957, when it was not held. Oberliga Bayern
The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. Landesliga Bayern-Süd
The Landesliga Bayern-Süd ( en, State League Bavaria-South) was the sixth tier of the German football league system in southern Bavaria. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga (Third League) in 2008, it was the fifth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fourth tier. The winner of the Landesliga Süd was automatically qualified for the Bayernliga, while the runners-up needed to compete with the runners-up of Landesliga Bayern-Mitte and Landesliga Bayern-Nord and the 15th-placed team of the Bayernliga for another promotion spot. German Cup
The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. Regionalliga Süd (1994–2012)
The Regionalliga Süd ( en, Regional League South) was the fourth tier of the German football league system from 2008 to 2012. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008, it was the third tier. It was the highest regional league for the southern part of Germany. It covered the states of Bavaria, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg and was one of three leagues at this level, together with the Regionalliga Nord and the Regionalliga West.
