1998 OFC Women's Championship
The 1998 OFC Women's Championship, also known as the VI Ladies Oceania Nations Cup was held in Auckland, New Zealand between 9 October & 17 October 1998. It was the sixth staging of the OFC Women's Championship. The 1998 OFC Women's Championship, like its previous edition, served as the OFC's qualifying tournament for the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. Pernille S. Andersen (born 6 November 1972) is a former association football player who represented New Zealand at international level. Mount Smart Stadium (formerly known as Ericsson Stadium) is a multipurpose stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the main home ground of the New Zealand Warriors of the National Rugby League, and occasionally hosts rugby union and international rugby league matches. Amy Duggan
Amy Elizabeth Duggan (; born 11 June 1979) is an Australian retired association football player and media personality. Football career Amy Taylor was born in Canberra, Australia and grew up in Tuggeranong. She started playing soccer at Tuggeranong United FC. Alicia Ann "Eesh" Ferguson (born 31 October 1981) is an Australian soccer player who represented the Australia women's national soccer team at the 1999 and 2007 editions of the FIFA Women's World Cup. Ferguson debuted for Australia at the age of 15 years during the Matildas' European tour in August 1997. Cheryl Ann Salisbury (born 8 March 1974) is a former association football player who represented Australia internationally as a defender from 1994 until 2009, winning 151 caps. Biography She most recently played as a defender for the New York Power in the WUSA and for the Newcastle United Jets in the W-League. Anissa Tann
Anissa Tann (born 10 October 1967) is an Australian soccer coach and former player. As a powerful defender, she represented Australia in the 1995 and 1999 FIFA Women's World Cups as well as at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Tann married Steve Darby in November 1994 and was known as Anissa Tann-Darby until 2001. Captain of the national team between 1991 and 1994, Tann was the first Australian to win 100 caps.
