The 1998 Montreal Expos season was the 30th season in franchise history. CKAC is a French-language radio station located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Owned by Cogeco, the station operates as a commercial traffic information service branded as ''Radio Circulation 730''. Its studios are located at Place Bonaventure in Downtown Montreal, and its transmitter is located in Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. CKAC was officially launched on October 2, 1922, under the ownership of the local newspaper '' La Presse'', as the first ever Francophone radio station in North America. Carlos Gross Pérez (born April 14, 1971) is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball and the brother of former major league players Melido Pérez and Pascual Pérez (baseball), Pascual Pérez. Biography Pérez signed with the Montreal Expos as an amateur free agent in . After being an Major League Baseball All-Star Game, All-Star pitcher in his debut season in , Pérez's career looked extremely promising. However, he soon suffered an untimely and devastating injury which forced him to miss the entire 1996 in baseball, 1996 season. After rehabilitation, he re-joined the Expos in but still displayed steady showings of his All-Star form, earning a career-high 12 wins and leading the majors with five shutouts. Vladimir Alvino Guerrero Sr. (born February 9, 1975), nicknamed "Vlad the Impaler", is a Dominican former professional baseball player who spent 16 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a right fielder and designated hitter. Mark James Grudzielanek (; born June 30, 1970) is a former Major League Baseball second baseman and shortstop. Grudzielanek played for six different teams during his 15-season career. He batted and threw right-handed. He was most recently the manager of the Charlotte Knights, the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Early years Grudzielanek attended J. M. Hanks High School in El Paso, Texas, and was a letterman and an All-State selection in basketball and baseball. His mother is of Galician descent and his father is of Polish descent. Brad Fullmer
Bradley Ryan Fullmer (born January 17, 1975) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman and designated hitter. In an eight-year career, he played for the Montreal Expos (1997–1999), Toronto Blue Jays (2000–2001), Anaheim Angels (2002–2003), and the Texas Rangers (2004). Career Fullmer played baseball at Montclair College Preparatory School in Van Nuys, California where he hit .568 with 15 home runs as a senior. Fullmer committed to play college baseball at Stanford but was lured away from his commitment after the Montreal Expos selected him in the second round of the 1993 Major League Baseball Draft and offered him a package worth $520,000. Roger Dean Stadium (officially known as Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium) is a baseball stadium located in the Abacoa community of the town of Jupiter, Florida.
