Jean-Claude Skrela (born 1 October 1949 in Colomiers, Haute-Garonne) is a former coach of the France national rugby union team, French national rugby union team. His son, David Skrela, is a French rugby union player and his daughter, Gaëlle Skrela, is a professional basketball player. Early life Skrela was born in Colomiers near Toulouse in France. His parents were Polish refugees (his father came from the village Kobiela, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Kobiela, his mother from the village Charbinowice). He lost his father when he was 12. Playing career He played for FC Auch Gers, FC Auch and Stade Toulousain and made his debut for in 1971 against . Alain Penaud (born 19 July 1969) is a French former rugby union player who held the position of fly-half. He was known for his vision of the game, his audacity and his ball carrying and played mainly for Brive, where he scored 449 points within 334 games all in all and won the Heineken Cup in 1997. Penaud is widely acknowledged as one of the best Brive players of all time. He later won French Rugby Union Championship (named at that time ''Élite 1'') with Toulouse in 2001. He was selected 32 times for the French national team and won the 1997 Five Nations Championship clinching a Grand Slam. A native of Lavelanet in Ariège department, Jordana was capped seven times by the France national team as a prop between 1996 and 1997, debuting in a home win over Romania. Franck Tournaire (born 4 December 1972 in Narbonne) is a former French international professional rugby union player now playing amateur rugby for US Carcassonne. Hervé Guiraud
Hervé Guiraud (born 25 November 1966) is a French former rugby union international. Guiraud, born in Castelnaudary, came through the youth system of Rugby Olympique Castelnaudary. He played for RC Nîmes and RC Narbonne during his time in the top flight of French rugby. Following an unsuccessful 1996 Five Nations campaign, Guiraud was one of several new players called up by France for a home Test against Romania at Aurillac, where he played as the hooker in a 52-point win. This remained his only cap, but he was also on the tour of Argentina with the national team later that year. Christian Califano
Christian Califano (born 16 May 1972) is a former French rugby union player who finished his career at Gloucester Rugby. At the end of 2003, he had been capped 68 times for the France national team, which was the record for a French prop until Sylvain Marconnet earned his 69th one on 4 February 2007. It seemed clear that Califano's international career was over, but he made a shock come-back as he was called to play against New Zealand on 2 and 9 June 2007. Califano earned his first national cap on 26 June 1994 against the All Blacks. His first two caps consist in two victories in New Zealand. Olivier Merle (born 14 November 1965 in Chamalières, Puy-de-Dôme) is a former French rugby union footballer. He played as a lock. He was known by several nicknames, including "La Merluche" and "Le Massif Central". A lock who also occasionally played as a number eight and flanker, he played the bulk of his professional career for Stade Toulousain, and is the all-time leader in appearances for the French national team.
