Malley Sports Centre
Centre intercommunal de glace de Malley (abbreviation CIG de Malley or CIGM) was an indoor arena located in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was primarily used for ice hockey, and was the home arena of the HC Lausanne from 1984 to 2017. It was demolished in April 2017 to be replaced by the Vaudoise Aréna which opened in September 2019. A temporary ice rink, Malley 2.0, was opened during the interim and is one of the venues for the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. Michael Søgaard
Michael Skals Søgaard (born 4 February 1969) is a badminton player from Denmark. Career Søgaard made his debut at the national team in 1992. Since then he has won many tournaments for Denmark. Played for the Kastrup-Magleby BK, he has won ten National Championships titles, three bronze medals at the World Championships, and won the mixed doubles title at the World Grand Prix Finals. Ricardo Fernandes (born 12 November 1972 in Funchal) is a retired male badminton player from Portugal. He also was the main inspiration for the naming of XquaX FC, a football/futsal team created in Madeira Island in March 2018. Career In 1990, Fernandes won the Gibraltar International after defeating teammate Antonio Lopes in the final. He also finished as runner-up in men's doubles at the Gibraltar International. Pullela Gopichand
Pullela Gopichand (born 16 November 1973) is a former Indian badminton player. Currently, he is the Chief National Coach for the India national badminton team. He won the All England Open Badminton Championships in 2001, becoming the second Indian to achieve this feat after Prakash Padukone. He runs the Gopichand Badminton Academy. Rajeev Bagga
Rajeev Bagga (born 6 April 1967) is an Indian born deaf badminton player, who represents Britain. He was Indian national champion, and reached main stage of the 1990 All England Open Badminton Championships, the only deaf person to do so. He has won 12 golds and been singles champion at the Deaflympics from 1989 to 2001, and was named 'Deaflympian of the Century' by the Comité International des Sports des Sourds (International Committee of Deaf Sports) in 2001.
