The 1995 Cork Junior Hurling Championship was the 98th staging of the Cork Junior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board. Bandon GAA
Bandon GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling club based in Bandon in County Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club is affiliated with Carbery division of Cork. In 2007, Bandon won the West Cork Junior A Football Championship, beating Muintir Bhaire in the final. The club's hurling team meanwhile were runners-up in the Cork Intermediate Hurling Championship. Na Piarsaigh GAA
Na Piarsaigh are a hurling and Gaelic football club based in the north side of Cork City, Ireland. History Formation In 1943 a group of idealistic young men drawn mostly from the hurling nursery of North Mon laid the foundations of Cumann Iomana & Peile Na Piarsaigh. The group had its first formal meeting in the presbytery of the North Cathedral. The young men called upon one of their teachers, Donnacha Ó Murchú, for guidance and assistance. This led to him becoming the first ''Uachtarán'' [president] of the club, with Derry Terry serving as ''Runaí'' [secretary] and Paddy Sutton as ''Cisteoir'' [treasurer]. In choosing a name for the club the members sought one which would reflect their aims and ideals. Padraig Pearse, it was felt, because of his underlying love of Ireland and all things Irish, reflected those ideals admirably. Thus the name "Na Piarsaigh" ["The Pearses"] was adopted. The City Junior A Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the BCE Consulting Engineers City Junior A Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Seandún Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1926 for junior-graded hurling teams in Cork, Ireland. Seandun GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division in the city of Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, at adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. Muskerry GAA is a Gaelic football and hurling division located in the middle region of County Cork, Ireland. It is one of eight divisions of Cork GAA County Board. The division includes clubs from areas to the west of Cork city stretching to the county bounds with Kerry. Banteer GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club which is based in the village of Banteer in the North West of County Cork, Ireland. The club plays hurling and is affiliated with Lyre Gaelic Football Club from the same parish. Founded in 1887, the club competes in the Duhallow Junior A Hurling Championship.
