1994–95 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Basketball Team
The 1994–95 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky University during the 1994–95 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hilltoppers were led by Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year Matt Kilcullen and SBC Player of the Year Chris Robinson. The team won the Conference Championship and the Sun Belt Basketball Tournament, earning a bid to the 1995 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament for the third straight year. Darrin Horn joined Robinson on the All Conference Team. Robinson was the SBC Tournament MVP and Darius Hall and Jeff Rogers were named to the SBC All-Tournament team. Matt Kilcullen
Matt Kilcullen (born October 31, 1954) is an American Director of Athletics at Mercy College (New York), Mercy College, formerly college basketball coach and athletics administrator at the University of North Florida. He served as head coach of men's basketball at four schools, Castleton State College (1979–1982), Jacksonville University (1991–1994), Western Kentucky University (1994–1998), and the University of North Florida (1999–2009), and was assistant coach at several others. He was the first coach of the North Florida Ospreys men's basketball, North Florida Ospreys in their transition to Division I (NCAA), Division I. In April 2009 he was relieved of his position by the university's new athletic director, Lee Moon, and subsequently took an administrative position in the school's athletics department. The 1994–95 UMass Minutemen basketball team represented the University of Massachusetts Amherst during the 1994–95 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Senator Nat G. Kiefer University of New Orleans Lakefront Arena (commonly Lakefront Arena or UNO Lakefront Arena) is an 8,933-seat multi-purpose arena located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The arena is home to the University of New Orleans New Orleans Privateers, Privateers New Orleans Privateers men's basketball, men's and New Orleans Privateers#Intercollegiate sports, women's basketball teams. The New Orleans Privateers men's basketball team represents the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Mitchell Center
Mitchell Center is a 10,041-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. It was completed in 1998 and is the home court for University of South Alabama Jaguars basketball teams. The Center is named for the Mitchell family, local real estate developers who have given over US$35 million to various University causes (both the Mitchell Cancer Institute and the Mitchell College of Business are named for them), including $1 million for construction of the Center. South Alabama Jaguars Basketball
The South Alabama Jaguars men's basketball program has competed in the Sun Belt Conference since 1978 when the league was formed. Since 1968, the Jaguars have compiled an overall record of 694–507 (.580). Ronnie Arrow returned as head coach in 2007, succeeding John Pelphrey after the 2006–07 season. In his three seasons succeeding Pelphrey, Coach Arrow was 63–34 (64.9%), and is 177–127 (58.2%) all time at South Alabama. He retired December 19, 2012 and was replaced by Jeff Price on an interim basis. On March 25, 2013, Matthew Graves was named as the new head coach of the Jaguars. On March 8, 2018, Graves was fired after 5 seasons after a 65–96 record with no postseason appearances. The UAB Blazers men's basketball team represents the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in the NCAA Division I men's college basketball, and have competed in Conference USA (C-USA) since 1995. History The UAB Blazers started their athletics program with the creation of men's basketball in 1978. Alumni Coliseum
Alumni Coliseum is a multi-use sports arena located on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. History Built in 1963, the Paul S. McBrayer Arena located inside Alumni Coliseum, is capable of seating around 6,500 people in both chairback seats and on wooden benches (8,000 for concerts) arranged in a horseshoe shape, facing a wall at the right side of the arena where staging is usually set up for events. The arena's ceiling is made completely of wooden beams and is believed to be the largest of its kind in existence. It was named for the former EKU Men's Basketball Coach Paul McBrayer who compiled a record of 219-144.
