1994–95 Miami Redskins Men's Basketball Team
The 1994–95 Miami Redskins men's basketball team represent Miami University in the 1994–95 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Redskins, led by second-year head coach Herb Sendek, played their home games at Millett Hall in Oxford, Ohio as members of the Mid-American Conference. The team finished atop the conference regular season standings, won the MAC tournament, and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. As the No. 12 seed in the Midwest region, Miami upset No. 5 seed Arizona in the opening round before losing to No. 4 seed Virginia in the round of 32. Herb Sendek
Herbert Joseph Sendek Jr. (born February 22, 1963) is an American college basketball coach who is the current men's basketball head coach at Santa Clara. Early life Herbert Joseph Sendek, Jr. of Slovak descent, grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Penn Hills High School. He starred as a point guard in basketball, lettering two years, serving as team captain, and earning All-East Suburban honors. He graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average and was valedictorian of the Class of 1981. Sendek's father, Herb Sr., was a teacher and basketball coach at both the high school and junior college levels. College career He played college basketball at Carnegie Mellon University, where he was a three-year letterman. The 1994–95 Ball State Cardinals men's basketball team represented Ball State University in the 1994–95 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by second-year head coach Ray McCallum and played their home games at Worthen Arena in Muncie, Indiana as a member of the Mid-American Conference. Fairborn, Ohio
Fairborn is a city in Greene County, Ohio, United States. The population was 34,620 at the 2020 census. Fairborn is a suburb of Dayton, and part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is the only city in the world named Fairborn, a portmanteau created from the names Fairfield and Osborn. After the Great Dayton Flood of 1913, the region and state created a conservation district here and, in the 1920s, began building Huffman Dam to control the Mad River. Nutter Center
The Nutter Center is a multi-purpose arena located at Wright State University, in Fairborn, Ohio. It mainly serves as the home court of the Wright State Raiders men's and women's basketball teams.
