1994–95 Esiliiga
The 1994–95 Esiliiga was divided into two zones, both containing six teams. They all played two games, once at home and once on the road, against each other in their zone to decide the top two who would join with bottom two from Premier Division first phase to create a Premier Division promotion tournament. Other four teams from both zones made up Esiliiga promotion/relegation tournament with four new teams from Second Division first phase. Winners of both groups secured a place in 1995–96 Esiliiga season. Second placed teams in the tournament played each other in the final play-off game to decide who joins the latter two and who is relegated along with other teams that participated in the promotion/relegation phase. All in all, JK Tulevik Viljandi and JK Vall Tallinn survived the relegation phase and retained their position in the league. Esiliiga
The Esiliiga is the second division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga is ranked below the Meistriliiga and above the Esiliiga B. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. The league features several reserve teams of Meistriliiga clubs. According to the rules set by the Estonian Football Association, reserve teams are ineligible for promotion to the Meistriliiga, but can play in the Estonian Cup. Competition format During the season, the teams play each of the other four times, twice at home and twice away. This makes for a total of 36 games played each season. The teams gain three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a defeat. Promotion and relegation between divisions is a central feature of the league. Kreenholm Narva
Narva PSK ( et, Narva Paemurru Spordikool) is an ice hockey team located in Narva, Estonia, which plays in the Coolbet Hokiliiga, the top tier of ice hockey in Estonia. They play home games at the Narva Ice Hall. History Narva PSK were founded in 2003, following the dissolution of the previous Narva-based hockey team, Narva 2000 (formerly known as Narva Kreenholm). Since their inception, Narva PSK have been a member of the Meistriliiga, and won the league twice, in both 2016 and 2017. As a result of winning the league in 2017, Narva PSK took place in the 2017–18 IIHF Continental Cup, where they were in the same group as HC Donbass of Ukraine, Polish side GKS Tychy and Latvian outfit HK Kurbads. JK Sillamäe Kalev, commonly known as Sillamäe Kalev, or simply as Sillamäe, is a football club, based in Sillamäe, Estonia. Founded in 1957, Sillamäe Kalev was one of the founding members of the Meistriliiga. The club competed in the Meistriliiga, the top flight of Estonian football in 2017, but was declared bankrupt in March 2018. Its football academy continued and took over the name, continuing in the II liiga, 4th level in the Estonian football league system.
