Nigel Abbott
Nigel Drury Gresley Abbott (29 March 1920 – 13 November 2011) was an Australian politician. He was a Liberal member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly from 1964 to 1972, representing the seat of Denison. Tasmania's first Minister for Road Safety, he resigned from the Liberal Party to stand as an independent after failing to get his road safety measures approved by the party. Brian Kirkwall Miller (30 January 1921 – 6 June 2014) was an Australian politician. Born in Queenstown, he was elected to the Tasmanian Legislative Council in 1957 as the Labor member for Newdegate. Philip Christian Koperberg (born 28 April 1943), is the Chairman of the New South Wales Emergency Management Committee, responsible for advising the New South Wales government on emergency response strategies, since 2011. Koperberg is a former Australian politician, was the New South Wales Minister for Climate Change, Environment and Water between 2007 and 2008; and was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, representing the electorate of the Blue Mountains for the Labor Party between 2007– 2011. Lucy Napaljarri Kennedy (born c. 1926) is a Walpiri and Anmatyerre-speaking Indigenous artist from Australia's Western Desert region. One of the first Indigenous women artists to paint in acrylics, her work has been exhibited at major galleries around Australia, and is held in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria. Henry Baynton Somer "Jo" Gullett, AM, MC (16 December 1914 – 24 August 1999) was an Australian soldier, politician, grazier, diplomat and journalist. He served with distinction in the Australian Army during World War II, was a controversial Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives for the Division of Henty, from 1946 to 1955, and served as Ambassador to Greece, from 1965 to 1968, during ' the time of the Colonels'. Donald Morrison Grant is a professional surveyor and the former Surveyor-General of New South Wales. Early life Grant was born in Bairnsdale, Victoria in 1934. He attended St Patrick's College, Ballarat, Victoria. Public Service Career Grant was appointed Chief Surveyor, Adelaide City Council in 1965. In 1980, he was appointed Assistant Surveyor-General in the South Australian Lands Department and was later promoted to Deputy Surveyor-General. In 1986, he was appointed Surveyor-General of New South Wales and remained in that position until he retired in 2000. Military service Grant is a graduate of the Officer Cadet School, Portsea, class June 1954. He was commissioned into the Royal Australian Engineers and served for eight years in the Regular Army. Rosalie Gascoigne
Rosalie Norah King Gascoigne (née Walker; 25 January 191725 October 1999) was a New Zealand-born Australian sculptor and assemblage artist. She showed at the Venice Biennale in 1982, becoming the first female artist to represent Australia there. In 1994, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to the arts. Life Gascoigne was born Rosalie Norah King Walker in Auckland, New Zealand, on 25 January 1917. She was the second of the three children of Stanley and Marion King Walker. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Auckland University College in 1937. She emigrated to Canberra, Australia in 1943 where she married astronomer S. C. Bob Fulton
Robert Fulton (1 December 1947 – 23 May 2021), also nicknamed "Bozo", was an Australian international rugby league footballer, coach and later commentator. Fulton played, coached, selected for and has commentated on the game with great success at the highest levels and has been named amongst Australia's greatest rugby league players of the 20th century. As a player Fulton won three premierships with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the 1970s, the last as captain. He represented the Australian national side on thirty-five occasions, seven times as captain. Adrian Owen Charles (31 July 1926 – 10 April 2013) was an Australian Anglican bishop, who served as Assistant bishop for the Western Region in the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane from 1983 to 1992, and as Bishop to the Australian Defence Force from 1989 to 1994. Charles was born in Warwick, Queensland on 31 July 1926. He attended St Catherine's School and Slade School in Warwick, and later studied at St Francis' Theological College and the University of Queensland.
