These are the official results of the Women's Triple Jump event at the 1993 IAAF World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. Triple Jump
The triple jump, sometimes referred to as the hop, step and jump or the hop, skip and jump, is a track and field event, similar to the long jump. As a group, the two events are referred to as the "horizontal jumps". The competitor runs down the track and performs a hop, a bound and then a jump into the sand pit. The triple jump was inspired by the ancient Olympic Games and has been a modern Olympics event since the Games' inception in 1896. According to World Athletics rules, "the hop shall be made so that an athlete lands first on the same foot as that from which he has taken off; in the step he shall land on the other foot, from which, subsequently, the jump is performed." Renata Nielsen
Renata Pytelewska-Nielsen is a Poland, Polish-born former Denmark, Danish long jumper. She was born on 18. May 1966 in Otwock, Mazowieckie, Poland. She participated in the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics. Her personal long jump record is 6.96 meter set in 1994. In Denmark Pytelewska Nielsen was associated with the club ''Århus 1900'' and she won most Danish golds in long jumps between 1990 and 2001. In Denmark she also participated in 60 metres, 100 metres and triple jump. In 1983 as Renata Pytelewska she met Lars Nielsen, a Danish pole vaulter. She moved to Denmark and in 1988 she gave birth to their twins. She got Danish citizenship in 1992. Since retiring from athletics she has been physical coach for the Denmark women's national football team, Dansk Sejlunion and the football team of Aarhus Gymnastikforening, AGF. Zhanna Gureyeva ( be, Жанна Гуреева; born 10 June 1970) is a Belarusian female former track and field athlete who competed in the triple jump. She was a three-time representative of her native country at the World Championships in Athletics, featuring in 1993, 1995 and 1997, and making the final on the latter two occasions. Her lifetime best of came in the qualifying round of the 1997 World Championships. Her first international medal came at the 1998 European Cup, where she took bronze. She was also bronze medallist at the 1997 Summer Universiade. Gureyeva was a four-time national champion, winning at the Belarus Athletics Championships in 1995, 1997 and 1999, and indoors in 2002.
