1992–93 Michigan State Spartans Men's Basketball Team
The 1992–93 Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team represented Michigan State University in the 1992–93 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team played their home games at Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan and were members of the Big Ten Conference. They were coached by Jud Heathcote in his 17th year at Michigan State. The Spartans finished the season with a record of 15–13, 7–11 in Big Ten play to finish in eighth place. They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Oklahoma. Previous season The Spartans finished the 1991–92 season with a record of 22–8, 11–7 in Big Ten play to finish in third place. Mike Peplowski
Michael Walter Peplowski (born October 15, 1970) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the second round (52nd pick overall) of the 1993 NBA draft. A 6'10" and 270 lb center, Peplowski played for the Kings, Detroit Pistons, Washington Bullets and Milwaukee Bucks in 3 NBA seasons. After graduating from De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren, Michigan in 1988, Peplowski played collegiately at Michigan State University. Missouri State Bears Basketball
The Missouri State Bears basketball team is the NCAA Division I men's basketball program of Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. The Bears compete in the Missouri Valley Conference. They are currently coached by Dana Ford, who was hired on March 21, 2018. Missouri State plays its home games at the 11,000-seat Great Southern Bank Arena. The Bears have been a Division I school since the 1982–83 season. Prior to 2005, the school was known as Southwest Missouri State. The Gersten Pavilion is a 3,900-seat multi-purpose arena in Los Angeles, California. It is the home of the Loyola Marymount Lions, Loyola Marymount University Lions. It was built in 1981 and has been used for home games by the university's Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball, men's basketball, Loyola Marymount Lions women's basketball, women's basketball, and volleyball teams since January 1982. Eric Snow
Eric Snow (born April 5, 1973) is an American basketball coach and former professional player. He played the point guard position in the National Basketball Association from 1995 to 2008 and appeared in three NBA Finals. Known for his defense, Snow was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2003. Following his playing career, Snow served as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic for two years (2014-2016) after having worked two seasons at SMU (2012–14) as the director of player development under Larry Brown, his former coach. Shawn Christopher Respert (born February 6, 1972) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He attended Bishop Borgess High School, and he came to prominence while playing college basketball at Michigan State. He played professionally in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for four seasons from 1995 to 1999. College career Respert was a standout at Michigan State. He and point guard Eric Snow combined to form one of the nation's most prolific backcourt tandems for head coach Jud Heathcote's Spartans.
