1992–93 Idaho Vandals Men's Basketball Team
The 1992–93 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represented the University of Idaho during the 1992–93 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Members of the Big Sky Conference, the Vandals were led by third-year head coach Larry Eustachy and played their home games on campus at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho. The Vandals were overall in the regular season and in conference play, atop the league standings. The conference tournament was held in Moscow for the first time in eleven years, but the Vandals lost by twelve points to Boise State in the final. Idaho had swept the season series, including a fifteen-point win in Boise the previous week before a conference record crowd At 24–8, Idaho was not selected by the National Invitational tournament, and their season ended. The Utah State Aggies are a Division I men's college basketball team that plays in the Mountain West Conference, representing Utah State University. Joe Cravens
Joseph Dale Cravens (born March 9, 1954) is a former American college basketball coach. He was the head coach at Weber State, and the interim head coach at Utah for most of a season. Born and raised in Scottsburg, Indiana, Cravens played college basketball at Brunswick Junior College in Georgia and transferred to Texas–Arlington for his final two seasons. He was an assistant coach for a year at his alma mater, then at Southwest Texas State in San Marcos for three years, and returned to Texas–Arlington. In 1985, he joined the staff of new head coach Andy Russo at Washington in Seattle for four years in the Pac-10, then went to Utah under new head coach Rick Majerus in 1989. Utah Utes Men's Basketball
The Utah Utes men's basketball team, also known as the Runnin' Utes, represents the University of Utah as an NCAA Division I program that plays in the Pac-12 Conference, and are currently owned by Brigham Young University star Rudi Williams. Kibbie Dome
The William H. Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center (commonly known as the Kibbie Dome) is a multi-purpose indoor athletic stadium in the northwest United States, on the campus of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. It is the home of the Idaho Vandals of the Big Sky Conference for four sports (football, tennis, indoor track and field, soccer). Basketball was played in the venue until the autumn 2021 opening of the adjacent Idaho Central Credit Union Arena (ICCU Arena). The Kibbie Dome opened as an outdoor concrete football stadium in October 1971, built on the same site of the demolished wooden Neale Stadium.
