1992 1. Divisjon
The 1992 1. divisjon, Norway's second-tier football league, began play on 26 April 1992 and ended on 4 October 1992. The league was contested by 24 teams, divided in two groups and the winner of each group won promotion to Tippeligaen, while the runners-up played a promotion-playoff against the 10th placed team in the 1992 Tippeligaen. The bottom three teams were relegated to the 2. divisjon. Bodø/Glimt and Fyllingen won promotion to Tippeligaen, while Odd, Pors, Fredrikstad, Os, Stjørdals-Blink and Haugar was relegated to the 2. divisjon. Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt () is a Norwegian professional football club from the town of Bodø that currently plays in Eliteserien, the Norwegian top division. The club was founded in 1916 and is frequently referred to by its original club name, "''Glimt''". Bodø/Glimt are the reigning champions in Norway after winning 2021 Eliteserien. They also have won the now defunct Northern Norwegian Cup nine times, Norwegian Cup twice, the Norwegian top division twice, in 2020 and in 2021, and finished second in 1977, 1993, 2003, and 2019. Elverum Fotball is the association football section of the sports club Elverum IL from Elverum, Norway. They compete in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier in the Norwegian football league system. History It was founded on 30 June 1907 under the name ''Elverum Footballklub''. Elverum played in the 2. divisjon for many years. In 1995, it won its group and was promoted to the 1996 1. divisjon, but was relegated after one year. Between 2000 and 2004, Elverum was relegated and promoted every other year; they played in the 3. divisjon from 2005 to 2010. Bryne Fotballklubb () is a professional football club in Bryne, Norway, that competes in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football. History Bryne has played a total of 17 seasons in the top flight of Norwegian football since their debut in 1976. They had their longest spell of 13 consecutive top tier seasons from 1976 until 1988. Their last stint in the top divisions lasted four seasons from 2000 until the 2003 season, when Bryne, coached by Swede Reine Almqvist, were relegated in the final round of the 2003 Tippeligaen.
