1991–92 Princeton Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 1991–92 Princeton Tigers men's basketball team represented Princeton University in intercollegiate college basketball during the 1991–92 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The head coach was Pete Carril and the team co- captains were Matt Eastwick, Sean Jackson and George Leftwich. The team played its home games in the Jadwin Gymnasium on the University campus in Princeton, New Jersey. The team was the champion of the Ivy League, which earned them an invitation to the 64-team 1992 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament where they were seeded eleventh in the East Region. This was the team's fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA basketball tournament after having lost in the first round by a total of seven points in the prior three years. Pete Carril
Peter Joseph Carril (July 10, 1930 – August 15, 2022) was an American basketball coach. He is best known as head coach of Princeton University for 30 years and for his use of the "Princeton offense". He also coached at Lehigh University and as an assistant with the Sacramento Kings in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life Pedro José Carril was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on July 10, 1930. His father, an immigrant from Spain, was employed as a steelworker at Bethlehem Steel for four decades and brought up his son as a single father. Carril attended Liberty High School in his hometown, where he was an all-state selection for Pennsylvania. He then studied at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, playing college basketball for the Lafayette Leopards under Butch Van Breda Kolff. Centrum Centre
The DCU Center (originally Centrum in Worcester, formerly Worcester's Centrum Centre and commonly Worcester Centrum) is an indoor arena and convention center complex in downtown Worcester, Massachusetts. The facility hosts a variety of events, including concerts, sporting events, family shows, conventions, trade-shows and meetings. It is owned by the City of Worcester and managed by SMG, a private management firm for public assembly facilities. Ten-year naming rights were purchased in 2004 by Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) and went into effect January 2005. DCU's naming rights were later extended to 2025.
