Roy Williams (coach)
Roy Allen Williams (born August 1, 1950) is an American retired college basketball coach who served as the men's head coach for the North Carolina Tar Heels for 18 seasons and the Kansas Jayhawks for 15 seasons. He was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007. Williams started his college coaching career at North Carolina as an assistant coach for Dean Smith in 1978. Four years later, North Carolina won the national championship. After ten years as Smith's assistant, Williams became head coach at Kansas in 1988, taking them to 14 consecutive NCAA tournaments, four Final Four appearances, two national championship game appearances, collecting an .805 winning percentage, and winning nine conference titles. The 1991–92 Missouri Tigers men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri as a member of the Big Eight Conference during the 1991–92 NCAA men's basketball season. Led by head coach Norm Stewart, the Tigers finished third in the Big Eight Conference, lost in the quarterfinal round of the Big Eight tournament, and received a bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 5 seed in the East region. Steve Woodberry
Steve Woodberry (born October 9, 1971) is an American basketball coach and former professional player. He played professionally in the Australian National Basketball League and Europe as a point guard, shooting guard and small forward. Playing career Woodberry was born in Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita South High School. He played on two state title teams and was named Kansas Naismith Player of the Year as a senior in 1990. He then played college basketball with the Kansas Jayhawks and was a part of two Final Four teams at Kansas in 1991 and 1993. Woodberry was named to the second team All-Big Eight in both his junior and senior season. In 1994 Woodberry won a championship in the Swiss league with Belinzona and then moved to Australia where he played for the Gold Coast Rollers in 1995. Rex Andrew Walters (born March 12, 1970) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who serves as an assistant coach for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Lee's Summit is a city located within the counties of Jackson (primarily) and Cass in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. Buena Park (''Buena'', Spanish for "Good") is a city in Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census its population was 84,034. Duncanville is a city in southwest Dallas County, Texas, in the United States. Duncanville's population was 40,706 at the 2020 census. The city is part of the Best Southwest area, which includes Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Lancaster.
