Barbara Kay Roberts (née Hughey; born December 21, 1936) is an American politician from the state of Oregon. A native of the state, she served as the List of Governors of Oregon, 34th Governor of Oregon from 1991 to 1995. She was the first List of female state governors in the United States, woman to serve as Oregon governor, and the only woman elected to that office until 2016. A Democratic Party (United States), Democrat, Roberts was also the first woman to serve as majority leader in the Oregon House of Representatives. John Lim (born December 23, 1935) is a South Korean-born American politician from the state of Oregon. He has served in both houses of the Oregon Legislative Assembly and was the Oregon State Senate Majority Leader in 1995. He has unsuccessfully run for the U.S. Senate and for the Republican nomination for Governor of Oregon. Early life Lim was born in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, Korea. As an adolescent, Lim suffered from tuberculosis for five years, from which he nearly died. David B. "Dave" Frohnmayer (July 9, 1940 – March 10, 2015) was an American attorney, politician, and academic administrator from Oregon. He was the 15th president of the University of Oregon, serving from 1994 to 2009. His tenure as president was the second-longest after John Wesley Johnson.
