European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The European Women's Gymnastics Championships are an artistic championships for female gymnasts from European countries organised by the European Union of Gymnastics. They are held annually, though rotate between two different formats. History Originally held biannually in odd-numbered years, the championships moved to even-numbered years in 1990. In 2005 a second set of championships was introduced, titled the "individual championships". Tatiana Groshkova
Tatiana Groshkova (born December 16, 1973) is a retired elite female gymnast who competed for the U.S.S.R. women's artistic gymnastics team from the mid-1980s to the early 1990s. Beginning at age 6, Groshkova trained under Olympic-gymnast-turned-coach Elvira Saadi at the Moscow Dynamo Club, which is the gym where 2000 Sydney Olympics floor and vault champion Elena Zamolodchikova later trained. In 1986, Groshkova placed third all-around and earned a share of the U.S.S.R team gold metal at the Junior GDR-USSR Dual Meet. At the 1989 U.S.S.R. championships, Groshkova placed 3rd in the all-around, and at the 1989 Tokyo Cup she won floor exercise. Mirela Pașca
Mirela Ana Pașca (born 19 February 1975) is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast, who competed internationally between 1990 and 1992. She is an Olympic silver medalist and a world bronze medalist with the team. Individually, she is a world bronze medalist and a European champion on uneven bars. She was also an uneven bars finalist at the 1992 Olympic Games. Career Mirela started to train for gymnastics at the age of 5 at the Baia-Mare Sport Club, under the direction of Adriana and Nelu Pop (who also coached Ludivine Furnon).
