The 1989–90 EHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup, IHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup was the 14th edition of International Handball Federation, IHF's competition for European women's team handball, handball national cup champions. Rostov-Don, Rostselmash defeated 1988–89 IHF Women's European Cup, previous European Cup's semifinalist Debreceni VSC (women's handball), Debreceni VSC in the final, becoming the second Soviet Union, Soviet team to win the Cup Winners' Cup. They previously defeated 1988–89 IHF Women's Cup Winners' Cup, defending champion CS Ştiinţa Bacău, Ştiinţa Bacău in the quarterfinals. The Women's EHF Cup Winners' Cup was the official competition for women's handball clubs of Europe that won their national cup, and took place every year from 1976 to 2016 (until 1993 organized by IHF instead of EHF). Club Balonmano Amadeo Tortajada was a handball team from Mislata, Valencia. Founded in 1975 in the Amadeo Tortajada school in Mislata, the team was better known for its sponsorship names: Constructora Estellés, Valencia Urbana, Ferrobús Mislata and lastly Cementos La Unión Ribarroja. Under the latter the team was relocated in 2004 to Riba-roja de Túria. Byåsen Idrettslag is a multi-sport club from Trondheim, Norway.
