1987 New York Jets Season
The 1987 New York Jets season was the 28th season for the team and the club's 18th season in the National Football League (NFL). It began with the team trying to improve upon its 10–6 record from 1986 under head coach Joe Walton. The season was marred by a players' strike that resulted in the cancellation of all Week 3 games, as well as Weeks 4 through 6 being played mostly with replacement players. The Jets finished the season with a record of 6–9. For the second time in his career, Ken O'Brien had the lowest rate of interceptions among quarterbacks. He had 8 interceptions in 393 passing attempts. The National Football League Players Association, or NFLPA, is a labor union representing National Football League (NFL) players. Tony Sweet
Tony Sweet (born October 20, 1949) is an American photographer, known for his widely published nature photography. He is also a jazz musician, workshop instructor, and author. Career Tony Sweet worked as a professional jazz drummer for 20 years, playing with such jazz musicians as Sonny Stitt, Joe Henderson, Tal Farlow, and Johnny Coles, among others. Scott Huntington Holman (born September 27, 1962) is an American former wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). College career Holman played for the Oregon Ducks and was a starter as a junior and senior. He finished his collegiate career with 48 receptions for 782 yards and four touchdowns. Professional career Holman was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1986 as an undrafted free agent.
