1987 French Open – Women's Doubles
Defending champion Martina Navratilova and her partner Pam Shriver defeated Steffi Graf and Gabriela Sabatini in the final, 6–2, 6–1 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 1987 French Open. It was Navratilova's fourth consecutive French Open title in women's doubles. Navratilova and Andrea Temesvári were the reigning champions, but Temesvári did not participate this year. Eva Pfaff (born 10 February 1961) is a German former professional tennis player. Career During her career, she won one singles title and nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour. Her peak world rankings in the sport were 17th in singles (in 1983) and 16th in doubles (1988). Annabel Nicola Croft (born 12 July 1966) is a former professional British female tennis player and current radio and television presenter. As a tennis player she won the WTA Tour event Virginia Slims of San Diego and represented Great Britain in the Fed Cup and the Wightman Cup. A left-hander, she competed for Britain at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul and the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
