The 1986 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group 2 was a UEFA qualifying group for the 1986 FIFA World Cup. The group comprised Czechoslovakia, Malta, Portugal, Sweden and West Germany. The group was won by West Germany with Portugal as the runners up. Both teams qualified for the 1986 FIFA World Cup. Nya Parken, formerly known as Norrköpings Idrottspark, also known as PlatinumCars Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium in Norrköping, Sweden. It opened on 25 September 1903 and is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the home arena for IFK Norrköping, IK Sleipner and for IF Sylvia. The stadium had a capacity of 19,414 people until 2008–09 when the arena was re-built. Construction began on 27 April 1903, and inauguration occurred on 25 September the same year, during the Norrköping Sports Association's Sport Festival. Ingemar Erlandsson
Bo Ingemar Erlandsson (16 November 1957 – 9 August 2022) was a Swedish footballer who played as a defender. He represented Malmö FF between 1976 and 1987. A full international between 1978 and 1985, he won 69 caps and scored two goals for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Club career Erlandsson played for Malmö FF in Allsvenskan. He became Swedish champion with the club in 1977 and 1986, and was a part of the team in the European Champions Cup final in 1979 against Nottingham Forest. International career He was a member of the Sweden national team, and was capped 69 times between 1978 and 1985. He was in the squad for the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Dan Corneliusson
Mats Dan Erling Corneliusson (born 2 October 1961) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He represented IFK Göteborg, VfB Stuttgart, Como, FC Wettingen, Malmö FF, Qviding FF, and Karlstad BK during a career that spanned between 1978 and 1995. A full international between 1982 and 1990, he won 22 caps and scored 12 goals for the Sweden national team.
