The 1985 President's Cup Football Tournament ( ko, 제15회 대통령배 국제축구대회) was the 15th competition of Korea Cup. The competition was held from 1 to 8 June 1985, and was won by South Korea for the ninth time, who defeated South Korea B in the final. It attracted a total of 176,000 spectators. South Korea National Football B Team
The South Korea national football B team ( ko, 대한민국 축구 국가대표 B팀) was the selection of South Korean semi-professional footballers and college footballers. Most of the members were playing in the Korean Semi-professional Football League, the Korean University Football League or the Korea National League. It was run as the reserve team of the South Korea national football team, and is currently managed as the South Korea Universiade football team ( ko, 대한민국 유니버시아드 축구 국가대표팀; recognized as Republic of Korea by FISU) after Asia's minor competitions were in decline. Daejeon Hanbat Sports Complex ( ko, 대전한밭종합운동장) is a sports complex, comprising a multi-purpose stadium (including athletic facilities and a soccer pitch), a ballpark, Basketball courts, tennis courts and various other sports facilities in Daejeon, South Korea. Choi Soon-ho
Choi Soon-ho (Hangul: 최순호; Hanja: 崔淳鎬; born 10 January 1962) is a former South Korean football manager and player. International career Choi was named in the South Korean squad for the 1980 AFC Asian Cup. He scored seven goals including two goals against Kuwait, and a hat-trick against United Arab Emirates in the group stage. South Korea met Kuwait again at the final, but they lost this time. Choi became the youngest player to be the top scorer in the history of the AFC Asian Cup at age 18. In March 1981, he won the 1980 AFC Youth Championship, in which he scored four goals, with the South Korea under-20 team. He also played at the 1981 FIFA World Youth Championship in the same year. He defeated Italy 4–1 in the first game by recording two goals and two assists. However, South Korea was eliminated in the group stage after losing to Romania and Brazil. Claudio Omar ''Turco'' García (born 24 August 1963 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine former international footballer who played as a winger. García started his professional career in 1981 with Club Atlético Huracán in Buenos Aires. He stayed with the club until their relegation from the Argentine Primera at the end of the 1985-1986 season. García joined Vélez Sársfield where he played until 1988, then signed for Lyon in France. Natiq Hashim Abid-Aoun (15 January 1960 – 26 September 2004) was an Iraqi football midfielder who played for Iraq in the 1986 FIFA World Cup. He also played for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. Samir Shaker Mahmoud (born 28 February 1958) is an Iraqi former professional footballer who played as defender. He represented the Iraq national team in the 1986 FIFA World Cup. He also played for Al-Rasheed Club. Career Samir Shaker was one of the best central defenders during the 1980s.
