The 1984–85 season was Paris Saint-Germain F.C., Paris Saint-Germain's List of Paris Saint-Germain F.C. seasons, 15th season in existence. PSG played their home league games at the Parc des Princes in Paris, registering an average attendance of 16,438 spectators per match. The club was presided by Francis Borelli. The team was coached by Georges Peyroche until March 1985. Christian Coste took over as manager in April 1985. Dominique Bathenay was the team captain. Summary Deprived of legend Mustapha Dahleb, who left after ten years at the club, Paris experienced a difficult 1984–85 campaign. Georges Peyroche was sacked by Francis Borelli in March 1985 due to poor results, but his replacement, Christian Coste, could not steady ship and PSG finished the league in 1984–85 French Division 1, 13th place. Thierry Tinmar
Thierry Tinmar (born 19 May 1963) is a Martiniquais former professional football player and manager. As a player, he was a centre-back. He notably played for Paris Saint-Germain, Laval, and Red Star in France and played for the Martinique national team. Club career Originally from Martinique, Tinmar was a product of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy. Integrating the first team during the 1984–85 season, he made a total of 22 appearances in all competitions. PSG reached the Coupe de France final that season, but lost 1–0 to Monaco. He was loaned at fellow Division 1 club Laval at the end of the campaign. After one season with Laval, Tinmar signed with Division 2 club Red Star. He would also stay there one only one season.
