The title of the magazine was changed to ''1994'' starting with issue #11 in February, 1980 based on a request by the estate of George Orwell. The magazine ceased publication with issue #29 in February, 1983 due to the bankruptcy of Warren Publishing. Slaughter To Prevail
Slaughter to Prevail is a Russian deathcore band originally from Yekaterinburg, and based in Orlando, Florida. The group debuted with an EP titled ''Chapters of Misery'' in 2015 and followed up two years later with a full-length album, ''Misery Sermon''. Their second album, ''Kostolom'', released in 2021. The band is currently signed to Sumerian Records and have toured through the US, Europe, and Asia. History Prior to forming Slaughter to Prevail, British guitarist Jack Simmons was a member of London-based deathcore act Acrania, whereas Russian vocalist Alex Terrible gained a cult following online for his YouTube vocal cover videos. Swing (Hong Kong Band)
Swing is a Hong Kong musical duo that was founded in 1999. The members are Eric Kwok and Jerald Chan. The group was formerly known as "Snowman". Their best known work is "1984" and "A ticket in half" (半張飛). Swing was disbanded in 2002, but returned in 2009 for the release of the ''Wu Dang'' album. Another album ''Electro'' was released in 2010 . Career In 1997, Chan met Kwok for the first time when the former returned to Hong Kong after graduating from university. A multi-instrumentalist, he was known primarily for playing the electric violin and mandolin, as well as the harmonica, keyboards, glockenspiel, and other instruments (sometimes described as "devices" on album notes).
