Skopje
Skopje ( , , ; mk, Скопје ; sq, Shkup) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic centre. The territory of Skopje has been inhabited since at least 4000 BC; remains of Neolithic settlements have been found within the old Kale Fortress that overlooks the modern city centre. Originally a Paeonian city, Scupi became the capital of Dardania in the second century BC. On the eve of the 1st century AD, the settlement was seized by the Romans and became a military camp. Uwe Neupert (born 5 August 1957) is a retired East German heavyweight freestyle wrestler. He competed at the 1980 and 1988 Olympics and placed second and fourth, respectively. Sanasar Oganisyan ( hy, Սանասար Հովհաննիսյան, born 5 February 1960) is a former Soviet Armenian Freestyle wrestler and Olympic, World and European Champion. He became an Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR in 1980. Early life Oganisyan was born on February 5, 1960, in Moscow, Russian SFSR. He graduated from the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute. As an espoir he became a European Champion in 1978 and as a junior a World Champion in 1979. Oganisyan played for the Spartak Moscow wrestling club. Career At the age of 20, Oganisyan was selected by the Soviet Olympic team to compete at the 1980 Summer Olympics. Oganisyan won an Olympic gold medal. He became the first Armenian freestyle wrestler and the second Armenian wrestler to become an Olympic Champion. Ephraim (; he, ''ʾEp̄rayīm'', in pausa: ''ʾEp̄rāyīm'') was, according to the Book of Genesis, the second son of Joseph ben Jacob and Asenath. Asenath was an Ancient Egyptian woman whom Pharaoh gave to Joseph as wife, and the daughter of Potipherah, a priest of ʾĀwen. Ephraim was born in Egypt before the arrival of the Israelites from Canaan. The Book of Numbers lists three sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, Beker, and Tahan. Chris Campbell (wrestler)
Christopher Lundy Campbell (born September 9, 1954) is an American wrestler. He was a bronze medalist in Freestyle wrestling at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He won a gold medal at the 1981 World Wrestling Championships, and a Silver medal at the 1990 World Wrestling Championships. He is the oldest United States wrestler to medal at the Olympic Games. When he won his Olympic medal he was a month away from his 38th birthday. While wrestling for the University of Iowa, Campbell was a three-time All-American and a two-time NCAA champion, winning titles in 1976 & ’77. His career record of 122-6-3 ranks sixth on Iowa’s all-time career winning percentage list. Campbell is a vegetarian. Leroy (Lee) P. Kemp, Jr. (born Darnell Freeman; December 24, 1956) is a former American freestyle and folkstyle wrestler. Kemp would achieve success at the high school, collegiate, and international levels. Kemp started wrestling in only the 9th grade at Chardon High School, in Chardon, Ohio and by the end of his high school career had compiled two undefeated seasons, while winning two Ohio state titles. His first state title included wins over the defending state champion and the previous years' state runnerup. Shortly after graduating from high school, Kemp was one of only four American Junior wrestlers that recorded a dual meet win against a tough Junior Soviet team on their Ohio stop of an eight city United States tour, which resulted in 80 total matches being contested.
