Ramesh Krishnan
Ramesh Krishnan (born 5 June 1961) is a tennis coach and former professional tennis player from India. As a junior player in the late 1970s, he won the singles titles at both, Wimbledon and the French Open. He went on to reach three Grand Slam quarterfinals in the 1980s and was a part of the Indian team captained by Vijay Amritraj which reached the final of the Davis Cup in 1987 against Sweden. Krishnan also beat then-world No. 1, Mats Wilander, at the 1989 Australian Open. He became India's Davis Cup captain in 2007. Early life Ramesh was born in Madras, India, and is the son of Ramanathan Krishnan who reached the Wimbledon semifinal twice in the 1960s. Alejandro Cortes (tennis)
Alejandro Cortes (born 14 July 1955) is a former professional tennis player from Colombia. Career Cortes, who was born in Los Angeles, represented the Colombian team in Davis Cup tennis. He appeared in six ties and won eight of his 15 rubbers, six in singles and two in doubles. The Colombian was a quarter-finalist at his home event at Bogotá in 1979 and also reached the doubles semi-finals of the Quito Open that year, with José López-Maeso. In 1981, Cortes won the only Grand Slam matches of his career. At the French Open he and doubles partner Ricardo Acuña defeated Argentina's Gattiker brothers, Alejandro and Carlos, in the opening round. Dale Collings (born 16 December 1955) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Career Collings, who was known for his fast serves, won the Wimbledon Plate in 1978. He twice made the third round of the Australian Open, in 1978 and 1982. Playing career Before turning pro, Aubone played college tennis in the United States, at the University of Corpus Christi and University of South Carolina.
