1980 In Fine Arts Of The Soviet Union
The year 1980 was marked by many events that left an imprint on the history of Soviet and Russian Fine Arts. Events * April 14 — Exhibition of works by Leningrad artists, dedicated to Vladimir Lenin 110-year Anniversary was opened in the Central Exhibition Hall «Manezh». Over 1500 works of artists were exhibited. Soviet Union
The Soviet Union,. officially the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. (USSR),. was a transcontinental country that spanned much of Eurasia from 1922 to 1991. Dmitry Petrovich Buchkin (russian: Дмитрий Петрович Бучкин; July 23, 1927) is a Soviet Russian painter, a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists (before 1992 — the Leningrad Union of Artists), who lives and works in Saint Petersburg.
