The 1979–80 Boise State Broncos men's basketball team represented Boise State University during the 1979–80 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. ExtraMile Arena (formerly BSU Pavilion and Taco Bell Arena) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the western United States, on the campus of Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. It is located on the east end of campus, between West Campus Lane and César Chávez Circle, immediately northwest of Albertsons Stadium. Home to the Broncos basketball and gymnastics teams, its current seating capacity is 12,644 for basketball. The elevation of its floor is approximately above sea level. Kibbie Dome
The William H. Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center (commonly known as the Kibbie Dome) is a multi-purpose indoor athletic stadium in the northwest United States, on the campus of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. It is the home of the Idaho Vandals of the Big Sky Conference for four sports (football, tennis, indoor track and field, soccer). Ralph H. Miller (March 9, 1919 – May 15, 2001) was an American college basketball coach, a head coach for 38 years at three universities: Wichita (now known as Wichita State), Iowa, and Oregon State. With an overall record of , his teams had losing records only three times. Prior to his final season, he was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame on Miller played college football and basketball at the University of Kansas.
