Indy Lights
Indy NXT, previously Indy Lights, is an American developmental automobile racing series sanctioned by IndyCar, currently known as Firestone Indy NXT Series for sponsorship reasons. Indy Lights is the highest step on the Road to Indy, a program of racing series leading up to the IndyCar Series. The Indy Lights series has been promoted by Anderson Promotions since 2014, which also manages the Road to Indy program. A similar series named Indy Lights filled the developmental role for the CART series, and ran from 1986 to 1993 as the American Racing Series and Dayton Indy Lights from 1991 to 2001. The current IndyCar sanctioned series was founded in 2002 as the Infiniti Pro Series as a way to introduce new talent to IndyCar, with the moniker Indy Lights returning in 2008 when CART and IndyCar unified. The Minnesota State Fair is the state fair of the U.S. state of Minnesota. Born in Farmington, New Mexico, he was the youngest of four sons born to 1950s race car owner Dick Whittington. Harry MacDonald (racing Driver)
Harry MacDonald (born September 27, 1940) is a retired Canadian racing driver. He raced in the UK Formula Super Vee series from 1977 to 1979 and in 1978 won a race at Texas World Speedway and finished third in the championship. In 1981 he attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 but failed to do so, then competed in the United States Auto Club, USAC "Gold Crown" Championship Car race at Pocono Raceway where he finished 5th in a field of very few top drivers, then competed in the Champ Car, CART race at Michigan International Speedway and finished 21st after an engine failure. He resurfaced in 1983 to attempt to qualify for the Indy 500 but again failed to do so. MacDonald was born in Windsor, Ontario. He was a lawyer by trade and ran a law firm in his hometown of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Dave McMillan
Dave McMillan (born 18 May 1944) is a New Zealand former racing driver. Throughout the 1970s, McMillan raced Formula Fords in his native New Zealand during the northern winter and raced Super Vees in America in the northern summer. In 1979 he placed ninth in the USAC Mini Indy Super Vee series and eighth in the SCCA Formula Super Vee Championship. In 1980 he began racing in Formula Pacific in his native New Zealand, which at the time used Formula Atlantic rules where Super Vee cars were legal. McMillan won the 1980 championship in his Super Vee car and finished third in American Super Vee. In 1982 he won the American CASC North American Formula Atlantic Championship in a Cosworth BDA powered Ralt. In 1983 he finished fourth in Formula Pacific and in 1984 he finished 5th. He continued to work other jobs in racing, eventually moving to the United States to work in the Indy Lights series. James Harvey (born 2 May 1958) is a Northern Irish football manager and former player. Playing career As a player, Harvey began his career at Glenavon in his hometown of Lurgan, before joining Arsenal in 1977. He made only three Football League appearances and one UEFA Cup appearance in three years, with his debut coming against Derby County on 9 May 1978. Harvey moved to Hereford United in 1980, where he made 278 league appearances. He had a brief spell at Bristol City and then on loan to Wrexham, before moving to Tranmere Rovers in 1987; there he played 239 matches, scoring 19 goals, and became club captain. At Tranmere, he was the playmaker for a team who gained two promotions and won the Football League Trophy final in 1990.
