Van Winitsky
Van Winitsky (born March 12, 1959) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. He achieved a career-high rankings of World No. 7 in doubles in October 1983 and world No. 35 in singles in February 1984. Early and personal life Winitsky was born in Miami, Florida, lived in Lauderhill, Florida, and is Jewish. His father Manny Winitsky was the best player of his age in Florida for 15 years, beginning at age 45. He lives in Delray Beach, Florida. Van attended North Miami Beach Senior High School and won the Florida state high school singles tennis championships as a freshman in 1974. Tennis career Winitsky won Junior Wimbledon, Junior U.S. Open and Junior Nat'l at Kalamazoo, Mich. in singles and doubles in 1977 and won 3 Junior Orange Bowl singles titles. Roland Stadler
Roland Stadler (born 14 June 1959) is a former professional tennis player from Switzerland. Career Stadler was one of few players who used a two-handed grip for both his forehand and backhand. The Zurich born player was a surprise finalist at the Swiss Open in 1986, coming into the tournament ranked 403 in the world. He defeated three top 40 players, Milan Šrejber, Tomáš Šmíd and Emilio Sánchez. In the final he pushed Stefan Edberg to five sets but was unable to prevail. Some of his other best performances on tour also came at home, with two semi-finals and a quarter-final appearance in Geneva as well as being a semi-finalist at Basel in 1983. Stadler had his best Grand Slam showing at the 1984 French Open, where he reached the third round, with wins over South Africa's Derek Tarr and local qualifier Loïc Courteau. Marc Albert (tennis)
Marc Albert (born 14 June 1960) is a Dutch former professional tennis player. Albert, a native of Eijsden, was a three-time national doubles champion with partners Huub van Boeckel (twice) and Johan Vekemans. He was talked about as a successor to Tom Okker due to his junior success, but didn't have an impact on tour. In 1981 he represented the Netherlands in the Davis Cup, featuring in three ties.
