The 1974–75 FIBA Korać Cup was the fourth edition of FIBA's new competition, running from 5 November 1974 to 25 March 1975. It was contested by 42 teams, five more than in the previous edition. Birra Forst Cantù defeated CF Barcelona in the final to become the competition's first and only three-peat champion. FIBA Korać Cup
The FIBA Korać Cup was an annual basketball club competition held by FIBA between the 1971–72 and 2001–02 seasons. It was the third-tier level club competition in European basketball, after the FIBA European Champions' Cup (later renamed the EuroLeague) and the FIBA Cup Winners' Cup (later renamed the FIBA Saporta Cup). The last Korać Cup season was held during the 2001–02 season. History The Korać Cup was named after the legendary Yugoslav player Radivoj Korać, killed in 1969 in a car accident near Sarajevo. The Korać Cup is not to be confused with the Serbian national basketball cup competition, the Radivoj Korać Cup, which has been named after Radivoj Korać since the mid-2000s, the next year after the international Korać Cup competition was terminated. History The Lions was active as a professional team from the late 1960s until the middle 1970s in the Dutch first division, the Dutch Basketball League. Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. Donar is one of the traditional first division clubs along with Den Bosch, as it entered the league years ago. The club won the national DBL championship seven times; in 1982, 2004, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Donar was runner-up in the seasons: 1998, 2006, 2011, 2015. Flamingo's Haarlem
Flamingo's Haarlem was a professional basketball team based in Haarlem, Netherlands. Flamingo's played in the Eredivisie from 1960 till 1983, excluding the 1961–62 season. The team won the Dutch championship and NBB Cup four times. The Flamingo's also played at the highest European stage many times: in the 1966–67, 1968–69, 1970–71, 1971–72 and 1973–74 season the team did at least play in the qualifying round. The team was founded in 1954 as Black Pirates by baseball players who before played for several different teams. In its first year they were the city champions of Haarlem and finished third in the national league. The games were played in the Krelagehuis, despite there being no changing rooms and showers. The rent of the hall was so expensive, that the club did not make profit despite high attendance for games. Players of Flamingo's had to pay entrance for the games as well to cover the rent. AMG Sebastiani Basket, commonly known as AMG Sebastiani or Sebastiani Rieti was an Italian men's basketball club based in the city of Rieti. History Sebastiani Rieti was founded in 1946 by Luigi Padronetti and became active until the 1996–97 season.
