The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the '' ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Everton de Viña del Mar is a Chilean football club based in the city of Viña del Mar. The club was founded 24 June 1909 after a group of Anglo-Chilean teenagers formed a football club and named it after the English team Everton who had recently completed a pioneering tour of South America. The club's nickname is "Ruleteros" or the roulette players in English, after Viña del Mar's status as a gambling resort. Estadio Municipal Germán Becker
The Estadio Municipal Bicentenario Germán Becker Baechler is a stadium located in Temuco, Chile and owned by the Temuco municipality. It is the home ground of Deportes Temuco and also, the former ground of the defunct Unión Temuco football clubs. It was designed by Enrique Esteve and inaugurated on August 13, 1965. Its dimensions are: 105 x 68 m. It has a capacity of 18,413. It was originally built for the inmates at the Temuco prison. The highest ever recorded attendance was on December 3, 1972 when 32,551 spectators saw the Primera Division match between Green Cross Temuco and Colo-Colo. In 2007 the stadium was selected as a venue for the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, and to comply with FIFA standards, its facilities were improved, its capacity was decreased from 20,930 to 18,936; and all seats were covered by a roof (from about 80% previously). Leonardo Iván Véliz Díaz (born September 3, 1945) is a Chilean former footballer who played as a left winger for Everton, O'Higgins, Unión Española and Colo-Colo of Chile and in the Chile national team in the 1974 FIFA World Cup in Germany. Alberto Ferrero Gordiola (born 15 November 1944) is a former Uruguayan naturalized Chilean professional football player. He was the topscorer of the 1969 Copa Libertadores with eight goals. Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto.
