Ole Bendixen
Ole Bendixen (1869–1958) was a Danish explorer, merchant, and author who served as Royal Inspector of South Greenland from 1903 to 1914. Bendixen was active in Greenland from the early 1890s, and rose through the ranks of the Royal Greenland Trading Company, which had administrated Greenland from the 18th century. He was appointed inspector (the highest post in the colony) of the south in 1903, and held the post for 11 years. Upon his retirement as inspector, he was awarded the Order of Vasa. He led several expeditions in the Arctic in the 1910s, and was the author of several non-fiction books about Greenland.Eintrag

Ethnography (from Greek ''ethnos'' "folk, people, nation" and ''grapho'' "I write") is a branch of anthropology and the systematic study of individual cultures. Ethnography explores cultural phenomena from the point of view of the subject of the study. Ethnography is also a type of social research that involves examining the behavior of the participants in a given social situation and understanding the group members' own interpretation of such behavior. Emilie Demant Hatt
Emilie Demant Hatt (sometimes Emilie Demant-Hatt, or Emilie Demant; née Emilie Demant Hansen) (21 January 1873 – 4 December 1958) was a Danish artist, writer, ethnographer, and folklorist. Her area of interest and expertise was the culture and way of life of Sámi people. Early years Emilie Demant Hansen was born in 1873 to a merchant's family in Selde, by the Limfjord in northern Jutland, Denmark. From the age of fourteen to seventeen she had a romantic relationship with Carl Nielsen whom she met in 1887 in Selde. Expecting to become engaged, Nielsen had a psychological crisis over their relationship. Nielsen was living at the time with Emilie's uncle and aunt in Copenhagen. Emilie Demant Hatt went on to preserve several original early music manuscripts of Nielsen's. From 1898 to 1906, she studied painting and drawing in Copenhagen with Emilie Mundt and Marie Luplau, at the Women's Academy of Art, a school within the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Henrik Malberg
Henrik Malberg (1873–1958) was a Danish actor of theater and Danish cinema who played his most noted role at the age of 80—the stoic authoritative farm owner in the Carl Theodor Dreyer classic film ''Ordet''. Career Henrik Martin Marinus Malberg was born in Aarhus Denmark on 4 December 1873. Originally trained as a mechanic, Malberg made his stage debut at the Århus Teater in 1896. Malberg worked with a touring company for several years but between 1902 and 1905 he was based with the Aarhus Theater. While playing the role of Arv in ''Masquerade'', Malberg was noticed by the Danish actor Olaf Poulsen who brought him to Copenhagen. For the next five years, Malberg was the principal actor at the Dagmar Theater in Copenhagen. In 1910, he became director for a Danish touring company, then once again returned to the Dagmar (1912–1914) and afterwards, the Alexander Theater (1914–1917). William Thalbitzer
__NOTOC__ William C. Thalbitzer (5 February 1873 in Helsingør – 18 September 1958 in Usserød) was a Danish philologist and professor of Eskimo studies at the University of Copenhagen. He studied Danish, English and Latin at the university, but after graduating in 1899 he decided to focus on "exotic" languages. In 1900 he spent a year in Ilulissat in western Greenland studying the Greenlandic language. From 1905 to 1907 he with his wife spent eighteen months among the natives in Tasiilaq, one of the most isolated places on the coast of eastern Greenland. In 1920 the University of Copenhagen established a permanent lecture position for Thalbitzer in "Greenlandic (Eskimo) language and culture". In 1952 he was made an honorary doctor at the University of Copenhagen.
