The third of three 1951 Buenos Aires Grand Prix (motor racing), Buenos Aires Grand Prix (official name: Gran Premio de Eva Duarte Perón - Sport) was a Sports car racing, Sports Car Grand Prix motor race (over 1500cc S+1.5) that took place on March 18, 1951, at the Circuito Costanera (Buenos Aires), Costanero Norte circuit in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The race was also known as the "Buenos Aires National" and was part of the Argentine Nationals racing series. Jorge Newbery Airfield ( es, link=no, Aeroparque "Jorge Newbery", ), commonly known as Aeroparque, is an international airport northeast of downtown Buenos Aires, Argentina. The airport covers an area of and is operated by ''Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 S.A.'' The name "Cisitalia" derives from "Compagnia Industriale Sportiva Italia", a business conglomerate founded in Turin in 1946 and controlled by the wealthy industrialist and sportsman Piero Dusio. The Cisitalia 202 GT of 1946 is well known in the world as a "rolling sculpture". Cisitalia D46 Using Fiat street car parts as a base Dante Giacosa designed the D46 which made its successful debut in 1946.
