1945 Svenska Cupen Final
The 1945 Svenska Cupen final took place on 26 August 1945 at Råsunda in Solna. It was contested between Allsvenskan sides IFK Norrköping and Malmö FF. The final was a repeat of last years final which Malmö FF won 4–3 after extra time. IFK Norrköping played their third final in total and Malmö FF played their second final in total. IFK Norrköping won their second title with a 4–1 victory. Erik Nilsson
Erik Henry Sixten Nilsson (6 August 1916 – 9 September 1995) was a Swedish footballer who played as a left back. Nilsson played his youth days with Limhamns IF, before he moved in 1934 to Allsvenskan club Malmö FF, where he played until 1953. There he won five league titles and five Swedish Cups. During his playing days he rejected an offer from A.C. Milan. Career Nilsson played 57 times for the Sweden national football team, and participated in several international tournaments. He played in the 1938 FIFA World Cup, where Sweden finished fourth. He took part in the 1948 London Olympics, where Sweden celebrated its best international result with a gold medal, defeating Yugoslavia 3–1 in the final. Helge Bengtsson
Karl Helge Bengtsson (19 December 1916 – 10 February 2001) was a Swedish footballer. He was nicknamed "Gripen" and was rarely referred to with his first name when he played. Career Born in Malmö, Bengtsson played for Malmö FF his entire career and was the first choice goalkeeper for the team throughout the 1940s. He was part of the team which went undefeated during 49 games between 1949 and 1951. After his retirement from playing he continued to be a part of the club, sitting in the board of directors and being first team coach between 1962 and 1965. Lajos Czeizler
Lajos Czeizler (5 October 1893 – 6 May 1969) was a Hungarian footballer and coach. With 11 major titles altogether, he remains one of the most successful football coaches of all time. Career Czeizler was born in a Jewish family in Heves, Austria-Hungary. He played as goalkeeper with Vác in the Hungarian championship between 1921 and 1923. He began his coaching career in the 1920s in Poland, in Łódzki Klub Sportowy, where he had between 1923 and 1926 his first coaching experience.
