Anna Pettersson
Anna Maria Pettersson (5 January 1861 – 6 September 1929) was a Swedish lawyer. She was the first woman in Sweden to set up a legal agency, run by a woman, which was aimed primarily at female clients. Pettersson was also active in the Swedish National Association for Women's Suffrage (FKPR). Life Anna Pettersson was born in Uppsala to the gardener Johan Fredrik Pettersson and Charlotta Amalia Günlsdorff. She never married. She trained to be a language teacher, but was always interested in the law and educated herself in law as an autodidact. Between 1890 and 1901, she worked as a clerk at the local law court of Uppsala, and from 1901 to 1904, at the law firm of Victor Wennerholm in Stockholm. In 1904, she founded her own legal agency, the ('Women's Legal Bureau') in Stockholm. She thereby became the first woman in Sweden to start a legal agency, run by a woman, and with primarily female clients. Ottilia Littmarck
Ottilia Sofia Littmarck (22 June 1834– 14 July 1929) was a Swedish actress and theatre director. She was a noted actress in Sweden in the late 19th century. Biography She was born in the parish of Jäder in Södermanland to inspector Johan Rylander and was the sister of the actresses Amanda Rylander (1832–1920) and Clara Björlin (1850-1905). She was active in the travelling theatres of Pierre Deland, director of the Deland Theater Company in 1833–1861 with her sister Amanda in 1857–68. Between 1873 and '74, she was the director of ''Södra teatern'' in Stockholm. Birger Sjöberg
Birger Sjöberg (1885–1929) was a Swedish poet, novelist and songwriter, whose best-known works include the faux-naïf song collection ''Fridas Bok'' (Frida's Book) and the novel ''Kvartetten Som Sprängdes'' (The Quartet That Split Up), a somewhat Dickensian relation about stock-exchange gambling in the twenties, and the frantic efforts to recover. Originally a journalist, Sjöberg wrote songs in his spare time. His debuted as a serious writer with the 1922 publication of ''Fridas Bok'' (Frida's Book), which was both a critical and popular success. Following a series of concert tours, he withdrew from public life and focused on his writing. After his death in 1929, a new series of songs and a selection of poems were published.
