José Quirante
José Quirante Pineda (10 May 1883 in Alicante, Spain – 30 May 1964 in Barcelona, Spain) was a footballer who played as a midfielder, being one of the first players to play for both FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. He is also remembered for being one of the first professional players of the still growing sport. Quirante was one of the most important players in the amateur beginnings of FC Barcelona, playing with them for a whole decade between 1901 and 1911. He was an outstanding athlete and cyclist and, after his sports retirement, he had a prolific career and long career as a coach for numerous clubs throughout Spanish geography. Gaspar Rubio Meliá (14 December 1907 – 3 January 1983) was a Spanish football forward and coach. Club career Born in Serra, Valencia, Rubio amassed La Liga totals of 61 games and 37 goals over the course of five seasons, representing in the competition Real Madrid (1928–30), Valencia CF ( 1934–35), Real Murcia ( 1940–41) and Recreativo Granada ( 1942–43). Monchín Triana (28 June 1902 – 10 August 1936) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder. Anacleto José María Peña Salegui (19 April 1895 – 13 January 1988) was a Spanish professional football player and manager. Born in Las Arenas, he started playing football at Arenas Club de Getxo as a midfielder. He played for Spain at the 1924 Summer Olympics. Jack Greenwell
John Richard Greenwell (2 January 1884 – 20 November 1942) was an English football manager and former player. He is Barcelona's longest serving manager, having coached the club for ten consecutive seasons (initially as player-coach, then as manager), later returning to coach for two more seasons in the 1930s. In 1939, Greenwell became the only non-South American coach to date to win the South American Championship when he guided Peru to their first win.
