''18 Greatest Hits'' is the second greatest hits album by German singer Sandra, released on 12 October 1992 by Virgin Records. *Background, Albums and Achievements - ''18 Greatest Hits'' consists of all Sandra singles released between 1985 and 1992, many of them in shorter 7″ versions, excluding her most recent single, "I Need Love". A new version of "Johnny Wanna Live" from the ''Paintings in Yellow'' album was also included and released as a single to promote the collection. A video version of the album was released on VHS, including all 18 music videos. The compilation peaked at number 10 on the German chart, and has been certified gold in Germany and platinum in France. The album was re-released on 31 March 2003 under the title ''The Essential'' with a different artwork, but the same track listing. David Scott-Morgan
David Scott-Morgan (born David Raymond Morgan, 19 August 1942) is an English songwriter and musician. Career Morgan was a member of The Uglys with Steve Gibbons between 1967 and 1969, where he was the bassist and vocalist. Morgan was part of the spin-off Balls with Gibbons and Trevor Burton, until he was replaced by Denny Laine. Morgan was subsequently bassist and vocalist with Magnum, departing before their debut album, and was guitarist with E.L.O. from 1981 to 1986. He is credited with performing background vocals on the 1983 E.L.O. album ''Secret Messages''. Morgan formed the Tandy-Morgan Band with E.L.O keyboardist Richard Tandy in 1985. Together they recorded the concept album ''Earthrise''. The album contained 14 tracks, all written by Morgan, with Tandy's keyboard arrangements. James E. "Buzz" Cason (born November 27, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States) is an American rock singer, songwriter, record producer, and author. He was a founding member of The Casuals, Nashville's first rock and roll band. Together with Richard Williams and Hugh Jarrett of The Jordanaires he recorded as The Statues for Liberty. In 1960, Cason started a solo career under the pseudonym Garry Miles, and had a number 16 hit in 1960 with his cover version of the song "Look for a Star", from the film ''Circus of Horrors''. The "Garry Miles" pseudonym was chosen to resemble the name of Garry Mills, the singer who originally recorded "Look for a Star". McGavock Dickinson "Mac" Gayden (born June 5, 1941) is an American rock and country singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He is also president of Wild Child Records, formed in 2004. Background Mac Gayden was born in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. He played with Charlie McCoy and the Escorts and that group started playing many sessions in Nashville. In the late 1960s, he helped establish two critically acclaimed bands. These were Area Code 615 (signed with Polydor) and Barefoot Jerry (signed with Capitol Records); in which Gayden wrote the songs, played guitars and sang. Gayden left Barefoot Jerry in 1971 to record his first solo album with Bob Johnston whom he had worked with on Bob Dylan's '' Blonde on Blonde'' album, and Johnston asked to produce the solo album on Gayden (McGavock Gayden. "Everlasting Love" is a song written by Buzz Cason and Mac Gayden, originally a 1967 hit for Robert Knight and since remade numerous times, most successfully by Love Affair, as well as Town Criers, Carl Carlton, Sandra Cretu, and Gloria Estefan.
