Agustín Bardi
Agustin Bardi (August 13, 1884 – April 21, 1941) was an Argentina, Argentine Argentine Tango, Tango pianist, violinist, and composer. Bardi was born in Las Flores, Buenos Aires, Las Flores district of Buenos Aires and was couched in music from a young age. During his life he produced around 70 pieces, mainly Tango (dance), tangos, three waltzes, and two rancheras. Around 30 of his works remain unpublished. He was inspired to compose Qué noche (what a night) after the snowfall in Buenos Aires on June 22, 1918, (the next time snow fell on the city was July 9, 2007). Agustín Bardi died on April 21, 1941, having suffered a heart attack near his home in Bernal, Argentina, Bernal. His remains are buried at Ezpeleta Cemetery. Pedro Pablo Ramírez
Pedro Pablo Ramirez Menchaca (30 January 1884 – 12 May 1962) was the fascist-leaning President of Argentina from 7 June 1943, to 24 February 1944. He was the founder and leader of ''Guardia Nacional'', Argentina's fascist militia. Life and career After graduating from the Argentine military college in 1904 as a second lieutenant, Ramírez was promoted in 1910 as first lieutenant of the cavalry. In 1911, he was sent to Germany for training with the Fifth Hussars cavalry in Kaiser Wilhelm II's Prussian Army. He returned home in 1913, with a German wife, prior to the outbreak of World War I. Advancing in rank as a specialist in cavalry tactics, he assisted fellow General José Félix Uriburu in an authoritarian coup that deposed Hipólito Yrigoyen in 1930. Ramírez was sent to Rome to observe Mussolini's army until his return in 1932. Argentine Law 1420
The Law 1420 of General Common Education of Argentina was a landmark national law that dictated public, compulsory, free, and secular education. It was passed in 1884 during the administration of President Julio Argentino Roca, after a number of similar laws of provincial scope and the conclusions of the Pedagogical Congress of 1882. The nonreligious education mandated by the law was controversial and caused a conflict between the Argentine government and the Catholic Church. The Papal Nuncio, Luis Mattera, spoke against the law. The government replied that Mattera was free to expose his ideas privately but not to interfere in government matters. Mattera tried to stop the arrival of school teachers hired by the Argentine authorities in the United States for the direction of public secular establishments.
