Ferdinand Carl Maria Wedel-Jarlsberg
Ferdinand Carl Maria Wedel-Jarlsberg (1 December 1781 – 16 April 1857) was a Norwegian military officer and commanding general of the Royal Norwegian Army. Biography He was the son of Frederik Anton Wedel Jarlsberg (1748–1811) and Catharina Storm (1756–1802). He was born in Naples, Italy where his father served as Danish-Norwegian diplomat. His elder brother, Herman Wedel Jarlsberg (1779–1840), was a statesman and member of the Norwegian Parliament. In 1790, he entered the Royal Danish Army. In 1807, he participated against the Royal British Navy during the Battle of Copenhagen. After resignation from the Danish Army he was appointed in November 1814 as a major in the Norwegian cavalry. Wedel-Jarlsberg was a commander of Akershus Fortress from 1819. In 1823 he became a Major General and head of the cavalry. Waldemar Hansteen
Albert Waldemar Hansteen (25 May 1857 - 4 May 1921) was a Norway, Norwegian architect. Biography Hansteen was born in Oslo, Christiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of Supreme Court Attorney Christopher Hansteen (1822-1912) and Lagertha Cecilie Wulfsberg (1820-1897). He was a student at Hartvig Nissens skole. He worked at the office of architect Wilhelm von Hanno (1877-1879). Together with Torolf Prytz, Hansteen studied at the Technische Hochschule Hannover (now Leibniz University Hannover) where he was a student of Conrad Wilhelm Hase (1879-1881). He conducted study trips to Austria, Germany and Antwerp in 1885. From 1890 to 1918, he was an instructor in building construction at Christiania Technical School (''Christiania tekniske skole''), while working as an independent architect in Christiania. He was a brother of Jacob Vilhelm Rode Heiberg, Jacob, Anton Heiberg, Anton and Inge Heiberg, as well as an uncle of Hans Heiberg, first cousin of Eivind Heiberg, Gustav Adolf Lammers Heiberg Helge Rode and Kristofer Hansteen, a first cousin once removed of Bernt Heiberg, Bernt, Axel Heiberg (judge), Axel and Edvard Heiberg and a second cousin of Jean Heiberg. The Wisconsin Supreme Court is the highest appellate court in Wisconsin. The Supreme Court has jurisdiction over original actions, appeals from lower courts, and regulation or administration of the practice of law in Wisconsin.
