Ulrik Frederik Christian Arneberg
Ulrik Frederik Christian Arneberg (15 June 1829 – 30 October 1911) was a Norwegian jurist and elected official for the Conservative Party. Biography Arneberg was born in the village of Vanse in Vest-Agder, Norway. His father Ulrik Frederik Arneberg (1795-1835) was the senior priest at Vanse Church (''Vanse kirke'') in Farsund. After taking artium in 1846, he passed his legal examination in 1852. Arneberg became a proxy for Niels Andreas Thrap who served as the magistrate in Kristiania (now Oslo) until his death in 1856. In 1861 he became a Supreme Court Attorney, in 1866 assessor at the city count of Kristiania and in 1872 the Justiciar. Hans Hagerup Krag (9 August 1829 – 8 May 1907) was a Norwegian engineer. He was hired as an engineer in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in 1852, and served as director of the Norwegian Directorate of Public Roads from 1874 to 1903. Ludvig Daae (politician)
Ludvig Daae (24 April 1829 – 1 May 1893) was a Norwegian jurist, landowner and politician for the Liberal Party. He was the Norwegian Minister of the Army from 1884 to 1885 on the cabinet of Prime Minister Johan Sverdrup. Background Daae was born on the Solnør farm at Skodje in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. He was a son of captain Ludvig Daae (1792–1879) and Barbara Henrikke Wind (1800–1860), and grandson of the priest Johan Christopher Haar Daae. The Solnør estate had been purchased by his father in 1820. He was a brother of Henrik Wind Daae, and a second cousin of Ludvig Ludvigsen Daae and Iver Munthe Daae. In July 1858 he married Anna Christine Schavland (1836–1904), a daughter of dean and politician Aage Schavland. The colonel () in the United States Army, Marine Corps, Air Force and Space Force, is the most senior field-grade military officer rank, immediately above the rank of lieutenant colonel and just below the rank of brigadier general. Hans Christian Heg
Hans Christian Heg (December 21, 1829September 20, 1863) was a Norwegian American abolitionist, journalist, anti-slavery activist, politician and soldier, best known for leading the Scandinavian 15th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment on the Union side in the American Civil War. He died of the wounds he received at the Battle of Chickamauga. Early life, immigration, and education Heg was born at Haugestad in the community of Lierbyen in Lier, Buskerud, Norway on December 21, 1829. He was the eldest of the four children of the innkeeper Even Hansen Heg (1790–1850) and his wife Sigrid "Siri" Olsdatter Kallerud Heg (1799–1842). The family moved to America in 1840, settling in the Muskego Settlement in Wisconsin. Hans Heg was eleven years old when his family arrived in Muskego.
