Christian VII
Christian VII (29 January 1749 – 13 March 1808) was a monarch of the House of Oldenburg who was King of Denmark–Norway and Duke of Schleswig and Holstein from 1766 until his death in 1808. For his motto he chose: "''Gloria ex amore patriae''" ("Glory through love of the fatherland"). Christian VII's reign was marked by mental illness and for most of his reign, Christian was only nominally king. His royal advisers changed depending on who won power struggles around the throne. From 1770 to 1772, his court physician Johann Friedrich Struensee was the ''de facto'' ruler of the country and introduced progressive reforms signed into law by Christian VII. Struensee was deposed by a coup in 1772, after which the country was ruled by Christian's stepmother, Juliane Marie of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, his half-brother Frederick, and the Danish politician Ove Høegh-Guldberg. Nils L. Landmark (11 March 1775 – 29 October 1859) was a Norwegian jurist, farmer and politician. Personal life He was born in Christiania to Nils Svensson and Karen Andersdatter Killerud. Contrary to some sources, he was not born with the name Landmark, but took the name as a grown-up. Enevold Steenblock Høyum
Enevold Steenblock Høyum (15 May 1775 – 24 January 1830) was a Norwegian military officer who served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly. He was born at Sauherad in Telemark, Norway. He was the oldest of six siblings. The family moved to Haug gÃ¥rd in Sauherad during his youth. He entered military service and in 1794 became Second Lieutenant in Telemark Infantry Regiment (''Tellemarkske Infanterie Regiment''). He advanced through the ranks became Captain in 1809. Together with Commander Gullik Madsen Røed, he represented Telemark Infantry Regiment at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. Lars Johannes Irgens (9 October 1775 – 22 April 1830) was a Norwegian jurist and public official. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly. Lars Johannes Irgens was born in Hof in Solør, Hedmark, Norway. He was the son of the parish priest of Hof. He was married to Christiane Louise Smith (1778-1858) with whom he had eight children including Norwegian government minister Nils Christian Irgens. Christian Adolph Diriks
Christian Adolph Diriks (1 November 1775 – 16 December 1837) was a Norwegian lawyer and statesman. He served as a representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly in 1814. Biography Christian Adolph Diriks was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was the son of maritime captain Boye Boyesen Dyriks (1744–80) and Marie Elisabeth Stoppel (d. 1797). After studying law at the University of Copenhagen, he earned his cand. jur. in 1795. He worked for some years in the city court of Copenhagen. In 1806, Diriks was appointed Assessor in Kristiansand. In 1812, he was made Director of the Justice Court ( ''Justisråd'') for Laurvig (now Larvik). Diriks was Magistrate in Laurvig and Judge from 1812 to 1815. It was from Laurvig that he was elected to the Constitutional Assembly.
