Samuel Troilius
Samuel Troilius (22 May 1706 – 18 January 1764) was Archbishop of Uppsala from 1758 to his death. Biography He was born in Stora Skedvi parish in the province of Dalarna. His parents were Olof Troilius and Helena Gangia. His father was a vicar in the Church of Sweden. In 1724, he had become student in Uppsala University, and was by 1734 appointed assistant professor of Greek and Roman literature, after having disputed in 1732 with the thesis ''De magnetismo morum naturali''. He was ordained in 1736 and an 1740 he became a priest. Troilius moved to Stockholm in 1740 as court chaplain, and the following year became the confessor of the Swedish Royal Family. In 1751, he was unanimously elected new Bishop of Västerås following the death of Andreas Kallsenius. In 1760, after the death of Henric Benzelius, he was elected Archbishop of Uppsala. Samuel Ahlgren
Johan Samuel Ahlgren (1764–1816) was a Swedish actor. He wae an elite actor of the Royal Dramatic Theatre and belonged to the pioneer generation of actors there. Life Samuel Ahlgren was born to the clerk Lars Ahlgren and Elisabet Fredrika Fredriksson and married Albertina Griberg in 1793. He initially worked as a clerk. Career He was engaged by Fredric Ristell in the newly founded Swedish language Ristell theatre in Bollhuset in 1787. Samuel Ahlgren was described as a beauty with a pure and clear voice, was recommended for his clear pronunciation and for his posture and played both hero and villain, though he was criticized for overacting because of his hot temperament. Karl Adolf Boheman
Carl Adolf Andersson Boheman (3 September 1764 – 14 April 1831) was a Swedish mystic, Freemason, merchant and royal secretary. Boheman was born in Jönköping as the son of city Councillor Anders Bohman and Regina Katarina Schelle. Early on, he became a member of the Masonic Lodge. There is a legend that Boheman assisted count Axel von Fersen the Younger in his attempt to help the French royal family to escape during the Flight to Varennes in 1791, and that he founded a fortune by stealing the jewelry box of Marie Antoinette. This is probably without foundation. Boheman lived in Denmark during the 1790s, where he worked for the Masonic "The Illuminati of Avignon" or D.E.L.U. (deus est lux universalis), on the commission of its grand master Prince Charles of Hesse-Kassel. Karl Gustaf von Brinkman (25 February 1764 – 25 December 1847) was a Swedish and German classicist poet, writer and diplomat. Member of the Swedish Academy 1828–1847, Seat No. 3, ennobled and elevated to Baron, chamberlain. Karl Gustaf von Brinkman was born in Nacka, Sweden, and was the son of Secretary Hans Gustaf von Brinkman and Countess Beata Kristina Leijon Manor. His education was from the beginning of strictly religious orientation, as his father intended him for a missionary work. From 1782 to 1785, he attended the Seminar of the Moravian Church in Barby, Germany. He became acquainted with Friedrich Schleiermacher, who devoted his later writings on religion. In 1787, he began to study at the University of Halle, and studied philosophy and law. In 1889, he went on an educational journey that led him to Wittenberg, Jena, Weimar, Leipzig and Berlin.
