Niels Krag
Niels Krag (1550-1602), was a Danish academic and diplomat. Krag was a Doctor of Divinity, Professor at the University of Copenhagen, and historiographer Royal. Mission to Scotland In August 1589 the Danish council decided that Peder Munk, Breide Rantzau, Dr Paul Knibbe, and Niels Krag would accompany Anne of Denmark, the bride of James VI, to Scotland. After several mishaps, poor weather, and " contrary winds" they decided to stay at Oslo over the winter. In May 1593 Krag travelled to Scotland with Steen Bille. Anne of Denmark came aboard their ship at Leith on 31 May, with her ladies in waiting, including the two sisters Marie Stewart, Countess of Mar and Henrietta Stewart, Countess of Huntly. She gave the sailors a gift of 100 gold crowns. Their mission was primarily to accept the lands of Dunfermline Abbey given to Anne as a "morning gift" by her husband, James VI of Scotland, recently re-confirmed in the Parliament of Scotland. They negotiated with John Maitland of Thir ...

John, Prince Of Schleswig-Holstein
Johan of Schleswig-Holstein (9 July 1583 – 28 October 1602) was the youngest son of Frederick II of Denmark and Norway and Sophia of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. He went to Russia in 1602 as the bridegroom of Boris Godunov's daughter Ksenia (Xenia), but fell ill and died before the marriage could take place. It is possible that Boris Godunov's ministers may have poisoned him. The cancelled marriage between John and Ksenia was an attempt to ally Denmark-Norway with the Russian Empire. Peder Soerensen
Peder Sørensen (1542–1602), widely known by his Latinized name, ''Petrus Severinus'', was a Danish physician, and one of the most significant followers of Paracelsus. His works include the major treatise ''Idea medicinae philosophicae'' (Ideal of Philosophical Medicine) (1571), which asserted the superiority of the ideas of Paracelsus to those of Galen. Severinus was a member of Denmark's intellectual elite. His education was supported by the Danish crown and his eventual appointment as royal physician conferred status and authority to his work and opinions. He was a contemporary and intellectual and personal associate of Tycho Brahe who likewise is associated with the evolution of chemistry during the seventeenth century. Daniel Sennert, a professor at Wittenberg wrote in 1619 that most chemical physicians followed the lead of Severinus and even referred to a “Severinian School” of medical theory, which was based on the philosophy of Paracelsus.Jole Shackelford, A Philos ...

Anne Oldeland (died 21 February 1602) was a Danish noble and landowner. She is known for the feud she had with the local representatives of the Danish church on Funen in 1561-1567.
